Wellhead Maintenance, Workshop Maintenance, Wellhead Field Installations and Repairs. Under Wellhead Maintenance, We have First Line and Second line Wellhead Maintenance. However, First Line Wellhead Maintenance include but not limited to these: Maintaining the integrity of the Wellhead, Greasing. Knowing the Status of the Wellhead, Inspection, Testing the Valves on the X-mas Tree i.e, the Master Valve, Upper Master Valve, the Swab Valve, the Wing Valve, Ball Valve and Control Valve to ascertain the one that is leaking in other to recommend for Change out or repairs during the Second Line Maintenance. Also To Replace the missing or Bad items such as the Gauges, Kerotest Valve (Needle Valve) and even ensuring that Hydraulic control lines are intact on the lines that lead to the SSCSV and on the Down Hole Safety Valve.

Second Line Wellhead Maintenance Include but not Limited these: The actual Repairs and change out of Equipment such as the Gate Valve (Master Valve, Lower Master Valve, Swab Valve, Wing Valve, Bean Box, Actuator Valve or Safety Valve, Ball Valve and Control Valve found Leaking or bad During the First Line Wellhead Maintenance Prior to the findings or recommendations made during the First Line Maintenance. Also, this is the time which Missing or Bad equipment such as Gauges, Needle Valves, Control Lines are replaced or fixed, Uses Lubricator to install Back Pressure Valve (BPV) on the Tubing Hanger Neck before embarking on Changing out leaking Gate and Sea assembly on the Master Valve. Also, install a VR Plug (Valve Removal Plug) with the use of a Side entry Lubricator before changing out leaking Casing valve or annulus Valve. Work on High Temperature and High Pressure (HPHT) Wellheads.


Wellhead Installations: This is the Installation of Wellhead Equipment after Drilling. these can Single Completion, Dual Completion or 3-in- 1- Side X Side Completion. That is, from the Starter Head (Wellhead Housing), Casing Spool, Casing Slip or Hanger, Tubing Spool, Tubing Hanger or Mandrel Hanger and X-Mas Tree till the final Completion of the Well, Also, carry out repairs on various sizes of the Gate Valve, X-Mas Tree, Pneumatic Valve and Test them okay before sending them to the Rig or field for onward Installations,

Also, Ensuring that the inexperience personnel are carried along in other for them to understand the operations to avoid down tine during and after the operations. Above all, I ensure that safety is kept as a number one priority in all the operations carried out by my crew and make recommendations where necessary to the Client and the Company that I am working for to make Sales. Above all, ensuring that task are carried out as per plan, effectively and efficiently to avoid Down Time in my operations. Also, ensure that Safety is observed and Maintained as a number One Priority so as not to record an Incident or Accident during and after my operations in the Workshop, Field or on Board the Rig. Ensure that Daily detail Operations Report both in the Workshop and in the Field are send to the Supervisor or the Manager concerned with the Operations for reference and tracking purposes. Also, to ensure that Proper Housekeeping are carried out after the task and tool are clean and equipment are stored back in the store or a designated place for future use.
