Duties and Responsibilities:
✓ Do ECG and make accurate records.
✓ Give medications according to route.
✓ Monitor neurological functions.
✓ Initiate cardiopulmonary resuscitation during cardiac arrest.
✓ Monitor patients receiving streptokinase, NTG and lidocaine drip.
✓ Give immediate care of pre and post-operative patients.
✓ Receive and admit emergency patients.

✓ Monitor vital signs every 30 minutes for post-operative, bleeding, head injury, patient in shock and patient on ventilator.
✓ Administer nitroderm patch, cardiac and antihypertensive drugs as ordered by the physician, observed and informed any untoward sign and symptoms of patient.
✓ Watch tv monitor for any abnormality in ECG tracing and informed the doctor at once.
✓ Insert NCT, catheter, enema, if necessary.

✓ Administer oxygen to patient as necessary.
✓ Maintain patent airway and maintain adequate ventilation.
✓ Assess for chest injury and airway obstruction.
✓ Encourage coughing and deep breathing exercises.
