Project: Qatar University.
- Reporting to Project manager on construction progress.
- Leading the team of supervisors, foreman, & technicians.
- Ensure the safe work policy and injury free.
- Ensure smooth flow of materials just in time without affecting the
production & progress of work as per the schedule and project
planning.
- Verification of material and shop drawing submittals prior
submission to the consultant for review and approval.
- Onsite inspections for all electrical and ELV system installations.
- Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with
the applicable codes and standards.
- Control all non-conformance reports and undertake/facilitate
remedial action until closure.
- Close coordination on specialized works and subcontractor to ensure
no compromised and conflict with other services.
- Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan and assure
all technical documents relative to site quality control are in current
status.
- Makes qualitative report and necessary logs to facilitate easy control
of different tasks assigned.
- Preparing & Submitting the Operations & Maintenance Manual of
the project to the consultant review & approval in prior for
submitting to the client

- Review contractor’s electrical shop drawing in conjunction with the
structural and mechanical engineers to ensure engineering co-
ordination and advise senior project engineer accordingly.
- Review and comment on Contractors testing and commissioning
results and advice project manager accordingly.
- Prepare on- going list of electrical services defects for contractor’s
remedial action.
- Undertake final project snagging and prepare list of defects for
Contractors action.
- Attend project, site progress and any electrical services related
technical meetings as directed by the project manager.
- Provide advice to the Project Manager in regard to any electrical
services related variation costs that may be claimed by the Contractor
during the course of works.
