WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK EXPANSION AT SEZAD. (EPC Contracts)
• CONSTRUCTION OF RCC ELEVATED WATER TANK OF CAPACITY 500 CUM WITH HEIGHT OF +42.5 MTR. INCLUDING INLINE BOOSTER PUMPING STATION IN LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AREA, DUQM, SULTANATE OF OMAN.
• PRESSURIZED PIPELINES (DN 355MM, LENGTH 15, 000 M FOR HDPE AND DN 400MM, LENGTH 3000M FOR DI).
CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRICAL SUB-STATIONS UNDER PROJECT NO. GTC/755/2015, CALL OFF CONTRACT FOR ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK WORKS.
Plans and directs the efficient operation & Maintenance of the whole Buraimi water transmission & distribution networks inclusive of manpower, commissioning of new transmission & distribution mains and interconnection of any new primary mains to the existing networks.
Responsible for the tracking, reporting, leadership, organization & coordination to support program planning.
Governance of project and project management.
Monitoring and participating to the implementation of Company Health Safety Environmental (HSE) policy and plan.
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations.
Reporting to the Operation Manager PAEW of the progress of works and of any occurrence in field that may affect the project execution (in particular issuing the Monthly Progress Report (Preventing & Corrective) document to Operation Manager PAEW).
Communicate with Company Operation Manager or HOD continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concerns.
Relationship with all local external organizations such as Authorities, banks, insurance/transport/etc. companies to ensure their operative support to field activities.
Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Organizing the work, Assigning tasks, and Directing activities. Estimating and Allocation of resources.
Monitoring progress of Construction Site and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, construction, health and safety standards.
Controlling project execution, and Tracking & Reporting progress. Control Quality and Issues Management.
Co-ordinating with primary client and consultant for approval of projects related technical documents, drawing.
Carrying out whole project from demarcation up to handing over of the site, along with civil-structural inspection, survey & problem identification.
Managed more than one projects at a time without any disturbance.
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to our staff and workers.
Obtain all necessary permits and licenses from related Government Authorities.
Liaising with Consultants, Clients, Sub-contractors, Supervisor, Internal departments such as Purchase, and Materials Department for smooth execution of project.
Monitoring contractual issues like extension of time, etc. and contractual correspondences with Consultant/ Client.
Preparing ground for claim like “delay statement” to justify the claim compensation.
Supervising and carrying out all types of construction site activities as per drawings and specifications.
Accountable for day-to-day management of the site, including supervision & monitoring the site labors force and work of any sub-contractor.
Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in ordered to meet agreed deadlines.
Preparing bill for the executed works together with client representatives.
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Liaising with:
o The local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
o Client and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
Supervise and carry out all types of construction site activities as per Drawings and Specifications.
Day- to- Day management of the site, including supervision & Monitoring the site labors force and work of any sub-contractor.
Supervision of Major Structures, Bridges, Road, Scheduling, Resource Planning, Estimation, and Bill Processing
Supervised installation of bridge bearings (POT-PTFE, PIN and Guide bearing, Spherical Bearing, Elastomeric bearings etc.), expansion joints (Strip seal joints, slab seal joints etc)
Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in ordered to meet agreed deadlines.
Supervised the specialized works for rehabilitation of major and minor bridges.
Prepared variation orders, analysis of rate for varied BOQ items
Implemented quality control/quality assurance for structural concrete as per agreed Quality Control Plans and agreed method statements
Monitoring of PCC, RCC, Pre-stressed concrete works as per Technical specification.
Directed the works of open foundations, Pile foundations, well foundations and Reinforced Earth, Retaining Walls with geo-grid as well as metallic strips ties materials connected with pre-cast concrete facia panels.
Well versed with FIDIC Conditions of Contract, IRC, MORTH and AASHTO Standards, technical specifications of NHAI
