My job description includes data management of research projects of public health, implemented by Aga Khan University Hospital, Department of Pediatrics & Child Health, with collaboration of international organizations i.e. WHO, Save the Children (US), Bill and Melinda Gates, Boston University School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, etc.
Responsibilities:
1. Designing of computer database systems, SOPs for operation/training
2. Implementation of data management
3. Generating descriptive & analytical report
4. Liaison with AKU data management unit & principle investigator for information dissemination, technical focus and operations
5. Liaison with Staff and site Field Supervisors
6. Data Analyzing in SPSS.
7. Adequate arrangements are made for data storage in the field office
8. Overall supervision of a team (18 data entry operators).
9. Hardware and Network installation & Management at field site.

• Prospective, cluster randomized, controlled evaluation of the impact of zinc and / or micronutrient supplementation on intestinal flora, diarrheal disease burden, intestinal mucosal integrity and growth among cohorts of children in Pakistan

A global health program of “Bill and Melinda Gates” foundation by “The Aga Khan University”. A Project to study the effect of programmatically relevant zinc and/or multiple micronutrient supplementation between 6-18 months of age in representative urban and rural cohorts on (a) growth and morbidity patterns (b) patterns of intestinal microflora in health and carriage of potential enteric pathogens causing diarrheal diseases and (c) intestinal mucosal integrity as measured by intestinal permeability measurements and (d) recovery patterns from common causes of childhood diarrhea.
