Leap Networks is a telecommunication systems engineering and systems Integration Company provided engineering support to DOPET for the EPIC For Automation Upgrade at FMDS, FSDS, FNDS, FSP & NFIS in Dukhan, Qatar. It involved CCTV, LAN & SCS, IP Telephony, Access Control Systems and Tetra, CCTV & PAGA terminals relocation.
Responsibilities:
 Part of project team handling Security Systems (CCTV and Access Control), LAN & IP Telephony System for Qatar Petroleum - Dukhan Automation Upgrade Project. Reporting to the Engineering Manager for the project execution work.
 Generate cost efficient engineering design deliverables, such as block diagrams, bill of materials, General Arrangement, functional design specifications, Method Statement, design calculation, wiring drawings, and all other documents and drawings as required by project and necessary to ensure equipment can be procured, integrated, tested, installed and handed over to the customer on schedule.
 Ensure equipment to be supplied for project is technically compliant with relevant specification requirements, technical forum standards, correctly configured and completed.
 Knowledge of the safety and technical specification requirements relevant to specific project.
 To ensure that the Engineering designs are in compliance with project specific requirement, and in-line with the Company’s Engineering Standard Practice, Company’s ISO procedures, national and international engineering norms, codes, and safety requirements as directed and advised by Engineering Manager.
 Design and develop system architecture.
 Create cabling layouts with tags and diagrams that allow other engineer staff members to quickly troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.
 Manage design of network to ensure full performance in terms of reliability and capacity.
 Produce acceptance test documentation appropriate to project integration.
 Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing and obtain customer acceptance.
 Perform other duties related to the project execution work, including site survey and site related activities.

 Fault finding and rectification, local repairs of the TETRA radios inline with the safety standards.
 Pre & Post Sales Support to the customer ensuring them best of the support.
 Have had to create detailed technical committee report to ensure that the customer is aware of any issues.

 PHILIPS SOPHO 3000, IPC 100, SV 8100 & SV 8300 -Installation, maintenance of all ranges from 96 ports to 10000 Ports, with sound knowledge of implementation of all facilities and networking & DECT.
 Philips Sopho IPC 100 Installation, maintenance of all Sopho IPC 100 VOIP Telephone Systems. Sound Knowledge of Telephone Network Cabling, Can handle and supervise Indoor and Outside Plant Telephone cable network using international standards. The Philips SOPHO IPC 100 is a new hybrid IP-PBX communication solution, which provides the latest Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology for small businesses with 8 to 72 extensions.
