Key achievements
* Joined as a Semi-Senior and was promoted to Senior Auditor within 8 months; appreciated by the
Partner for achieving the feat in a short span of time through sheer hard work.
* Grabbed the responsibilities of “engagement in charge” of several clients including listed companies
and groups in less than a year.
* Successfully participated and independently led audit engagements, managed a team of auditors,
prepared numerous financial statements and group consolidations in accordance with IFRS,
evaluated internal controls of business and advised clients extensively on best practices.
* Headed the new software implementation with the Senior Manager, involved as team member of
all clients under the Partner’s portfolio to ensure proper implementation of the software.
Responsibilities
* Review and analyse financial information at FS to GL levels.
* Understanding an entity and its environment to assess key business risks.
* Evaluating internal controls to assess the effectiveness of the risk management process.
* Assessing the audit risk of assignments and planning accordingly.
* Performing test of controls, analytical procedures and substantive audit testing.
* Performing audit procedures to evaluate compliance with the International Financial Reporting
Standards.
* Performing audit procedures in accordance with the International Auditing Standards.
* Preparing key audit documents for manager’s review.
* Provides information and financial advice for planning, forecasting and accounting issues.
* Ensure compliance with all financial statutory and legislative requirements for the organization and
conduct all activities with a high level of ethical standards.
* Lead and motivate the finance team in the achievement of agreed targets and objectives.
Successfully completed all 14 examinations which include the following: * Corporate Governance * Corporate Reporting * Business Analysis * Advanced Audit and Assurance * Advance Performance Management
