• Review customer inquiries and specifications and recommend process or equipment designs for the application.
• Design equipment to match specifications or clearly define differences (clarifications or exceptions list) to customer.
• Submit technical proposals that include a clear definition of the scope of supply, equipment
performance, warranty, and delivery.
• Confirm compliance with the customer’s purchase order regarding the proposal technical and process requirements.
• Working Experience in different UOP technologies like Fixed bed Platformung, CCR Platforming, Penex, Merox, Hydrotreating, Renewable Jet Fuel, Amine Treating, SRU, SWS.
• Develop “deliverables” for cost estimating, design engineering, and drafting.
• Proficient in Unisim, PROMAX and ASPEN HYSYS.
• Preparation of PFD/UFD, P&ID.
• Perform equipment sizing to meet process design criteria, Perform line sizing, Pump NPSHa Calculations as per API 14E, Relief load calculations (PSV sizing) as per API 520 Part1 & 2, API 521.
• Develop Process Equipment Data sheets and Preparation of Equipment List and Line List.
• Preparation of Instrument datasheet for control valves, flow elements, analyzers, pressure, temperature and misc. instruments.
• Responsible for issue of specification of Control system (DCS).
• Preparation of Cause & Effect, logic diagrams, alarm summary, basic specifications for control systems etc. as part of UOP Sch. A.
• Produce Installation, Operation (Start-up and Shut-down) and Maintenance Instruction manuals.
• Participation in Design Review Meetings, Hydraulics Review Meeting, PFD/PID Review Meeting
• Technical bid analysis of vendor offers, drawing checking- approval & performing manual calculations wherever necessary.
• Format checking after mechanical completion of system and suggesting modification and punchlisting.
• Coordination with Other department and contractors for work Completion as per schedule and in time.
• Coordination and supervision with vendors and licensors.
• Preparedness and Execution for the activities during pre commissioning and commissioning
• Overall coordination & Line-up in the field for Air blowing, Cardboard blasting, Grit blasting, Steam Blowing, Water flushing, Chemical cleaning as per procedure etc.
• Coordination for pressure testing like hydrotest, pneumatic test, leak test
• Overall coordination & Line-up for Mechanical Run in Test of rotating equipments (such as Compressors, Pumps, Fin Fans, Blowers etc.),
• Confirmation of Reinstatement of Piping Systems
• Execute the commissioning activities at field as per the detailed Method Statement Procedure and the Job Safety Analysis (following PTW).

• Coordinated with various departments and reviewed designs to ensure compatibility
• Prepared designs for new products and their layouts modified existing projects by making necessary changes and upgrading processes accordingly.

COMMISSIONING & OPERATION SUPPORT
