(Army Welfare Trust Group Introduction) AWT is a conglomerate having economic & Business footprints in various sectors like Financial Sector, Services Sector, Manufacturing Sector, Agri sector, Real Estates, Aviation sectors etc. AWT currently has 22x Business Units (Including Pvt Ltd & Public Ltd companies) and expanding more to increase business footprints
• Managing Highly motivated team of 11 employees (GM, Manager, Deputy Manager and Officers)
• Successful delivery to develop hospitality project (40 rooms resort) through market research, due-diligence, construction management till completion and operations
• Developed/negotiated various complex legal frameworks including long term lease with renowned business houses and Government Authorities safeguarding of business, commercial, operational and legal interest of the group
• Key member of working group in formulating Group's corporate strategy (22 Business Units & Companies)
• Established risk management and investment policies across the board

• Evaluated and executed various new venture opportunities in hospitality, aviation, real estates and tourism sectors to expand business footprints
• Developed Business Model and Financial Feasibility of multi-purpose commercial building project including due-diligence process and market study
• Revamped/turnaround of Askari Shoe Project, Hospitality (Restaurant), Askari fuel Project and healthcare project of the group after detailed diagnostic studies
• Enhanced top line growth of Healthcare Project of the group through completing detailed market study identifying low performance segments and probable growth areas to tap
• Developed financial model and directed contracts with project stakeholders; in order to ensure financing and groundbreaking of a commercial real estate project (Est. Revenues CAD 75mn) Industry research and adopt business challenges for process improvement and enhance revenue
• Finalized pre-qualification proposals for 6x HPPs (Capacity 521MW, DBOMF basis) and a crucial international consortium agreement, in order to achieve successful pre-qualification for all HPP sites.
• Submission and Award of 96 MW Hydro Power Plant Bid to KPK. Hiring and Close Liaison with Technical, Financial and Legal Consultants to enable the Bid submission in time and in full.
• Legal Contracts/Agreements vetting considering Risk mitigation
• Enhanced profitability through achieving topline growth and cost optimization
• Added new business segment to achieve sustainability in tough competition
• Introduced budgeting forecast model template (Standardized) to improve accuracy and efficiency with quick analysis features
• Successful handling of various tax cases (over 90% Win Ratio)
• Strengthen Internal control & transparency through introduction & implementation of cash, fixed assets and operational SOPs/Manuals
• Effective and timely tax returns and audits (External & Internal)
• Responsible for costing, maintaining financial control and delivering cost optimization on a geographically diverse and complex Primary Supply Chain (5 projects i.e. Askari Pharma, Army Projects, Army Welfare Mess, Lahore Lagoon & Askari Real Estates, 43 SKU's, 300 material SKU's.
• Monitoring of yearly budgets and forecasts of the projects.
• Analytical Commentaries to the Top Management/BOD
• Project's feasibility Analysis and Management reporting along with variance analysis & recommendations
• Providing financial evaluations to capital expenditure/project proposals in order to enable accurate business decisions
• Established Financial SOPs for Askari Pharma Project of AWT
• Developed excel based complex Costing model (Standardized) of Raw Materials (Leaf & Wrapping Materials)
• Actively performed in a working group for global initiative (Enhancing Bottom Line through Cost Optimization). The cost of wrapping material was optimized through shifting of wrapping on Cigarette outers from printed paper to clear polyethene. The project resulted in Millions of USDs
• Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to Globe House London through HFM.
• Budgeting of Raw Materials Cost, Management Reporting, variance analysis, supply chain reporting
• Responsible for costing of raw materials and financial control.
• Key Member from Finance in implementation of SAP in Pakistan Tobacco
