Major Activities:
• Analyze BoQ & formulate dry cost.
• Review project specs & design drawings and preparation of shop drawings accordingly.
• Evaluate bidders & finalize, based on comparative statement and assessment reports,
• Vendors for Procurement & * Sub Contractors for Work Execution
• Review materials and drawings submittals with staff & in line with project specs.
• Formulate and review look ahead programs.
• Analyze projects requirements for manpower & staff and optimize productivity.
• Monitor progress & initiate corrective steps to ensure compliance per baseline program.
• Assess resources requirements & initiate requisition in advance to avoid bottlenecks.
• Liaising with Client, Consultant & Project Team for smooth coordination.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures & safety procedures are being followed.
• Review & raise potential time impact report of variation to employer.
• Conduct interviews & evaluate staff recruitment based on assessments.
• Liaise with Local Authorities.
• Optimize usage of plant & machinery.
• Review the monthly payment certificates of the Sub-contractors work.
• Implementing approved & latest method statement, drawings & other technical procedures / documents.
• Responsible for the in-house teams & Sub-Contractors allotted to the sites, quality of workmanship, output in terms of quality & progress.
• Ensure lack of Non-Conformance to project requisites & corrective measures, if otherwise.
• Ensure compliance to Client snags during handing over.
• Estimation & Procurement of material required as per site requirement, project specifications, approved drawings & BOQ
• Review of purchase orders & coordination with logistics for the timely material delivery.
• Attend coordination meetings with organization management, consultant, material suppliers, vendors and civil team.
• Preparations for site progress, manpower histogram, etc.
• Ensures that the completed site work conforms to the technical specifications, drawings & contract.
• Testing, commissioning & troubleshooting, if any, of all equipment & control systems prior to Authorities Inspections & handing over to Client/Facility Management Team.
Projects Location: Dubai, Sharjah & Ras al Khaimah
Major Activities:
• Collection and review of tender, issued for construction drawings for design & preparation of shop drawings as per design & project specifications.
• Review & approval of prepared shop drawings in accordance with project specs & local authorities standards.
• Review and verify material and equipment technical specifications, tender drawings for Electrical bill of quantity (BOQ).
• Obtaining approval for shop drawings & material submittals from concerned Consultant.
• Load Calculations & preparation of schedule for submission and approval.
• Estimation & Procurement of material required as per site requirement, project specifications & BOQ.
• Review of purchase orders & coordination with logistics for the timely material delivery.
• Coordination between MEP & Civil services/personnel at site for smooth & efficient execution of works.
• Attend coordination meetings with organization management, consultant, material suppliers, vendors and civil team.
• Coordination & implementation of all electrical services, especially with specialist contractors for ELV services.
• Project manpower supervision, planning, management & follow up to ensure smooth execution of all electrical activities & completion as per planned.
• Report preparations for site progress, manpower histogram, etc.
• Ensures that the completed site work conforms to the technical specifications, drawings & contract.
• Testing, commissioning & troubleshooting, if any, of all equipment & control systems prior to Authorities Inspections & handing over to Client/Facility Management Team.
Projects Location: Ras al Khaimah
Major Activities:
• Collection and study of shop drawings.
• Preparation of comparison statement and onward submission to HOD.
• Obtaining approvals of drawings / material submittals from concerned Consultant.
• Raising RFIs (Request for Information) in coordination with drafting and Project Manager.
• Manpower planning.
• Verification of materials received at site.
• Raising Purchase Requisitions as per specification / drawings.
• Arrangement of material for use on site for smooth continuation of work.
• Study of Method Statements / ITPs for the project compliance.
• Attend regular coordination / progress meetings.
• Supervision of works at site, and progress of work.
• Arrange/Schedule inspection of works by the Consultant at site upon raising of RFI.
• Maintaining proper records of testing & commissioning of individual systems for onward submission.
• Ensure compliance to handing over snags.
• Preparation & submission of O&M manuals.
• To hand over the marked up drawings as per site conditions to the drawing department.
• Preparation & Submission of As Built drawings.
• Ensure timely submission of attendance cards to the PM for onward submission.
• Assisting Project Engineer in preparing and submitting the Engineering calculations required as appropriate for the following upon obtaining approvals from the respective HODs and process for further approvals from Client, Consultants and Authorities: a) Electrical load schedules b) Any other calculations/technical details.
