*To collect information/data from branches and Internal Audit Reports relevant to the task assigned, scrutinize it and identify potential risk areas before commencement of the field work.
*To check the assigned areas/activities and note down any violation/deviation from the laid down systems and procedures and also guide/train the respective staff on how not to repeat the same mistakes.
*To ensure completion of checking of assigned areas/activities within the stipulated time period and with quality.
*To discuss significant findings with the Regional General Manager during the course of audit for timely action.
*To document the observations/exceptions in the form of Daily Work Sheets.
*To discuss observations/exceptions with the staff concerned of branches to rectify the same.
*To properly maintain working papers collected during the course of audit for future references.
*To maintain secrecy of the information collected from the branches as required by the code of ethics.
*To have updated knowledge of Bank’s own policies/manuals, regulatory requirements and best practices, etc.
*Selling of asset products to new-to-bank clients after evaluating financial risks and obtaining legal advice to achieve asset sales targets.
*Carry out the valuation of properties for liquidation by following bank’s defined procedures.
*Commence the credit initiation process by gathering information and drafting credit proposals, to ensure credit decision making is in line with credit policies, SBP, Prudential Regulations and overall business objectives.
*Prepares credit approvals for customer by ensuring credit applications are correctly prepared in accordance with the bank’s policies.
*Monitors performance through MIS reports and presents results to management at regular intervals for watch list accounts with follow-ups for recoveries & handling of classified finances by issuing legal notices
*Timely preparation & submission of all required credit statements & CRMIS data to improve the credit process and provide marketing support to credit products.
*Establish LCs, lodgment documents, retirement of documents, outward/inward remittances, deposits and withdrawal from foreign currency accounts and other activities as required for customer’s expectations while strictly adhering to all compliance norms
