Senior IT Supervisor with extensive experience in aspects of project management, team building, web-technology, operating systems, networking and security.
Worked as a Windows Systems Administrator for Ministry of Transport. Started with designing and implementing malware infrastructure including email/web gateway for all remote branches around the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Migrated DC’s from Physical server to VMware and upgraded DC’s from windows 2008 to windows 2008 R2. Security tightening of Active directory by delegating roles and responsibilities. Group policy management including writing up new scripts, complete Patch management & software distribution using SCCM 2007, SCOM Service security Monitoring, administration and implementation of Management Packs. Managing and administering Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 Plan, Design, upgrade to MS exchange 2010; Email Gateway, design, implement and installation (Proofpoint, Mcafee, Symantec), Microsoft TMG 2010 design, deployment and administration. Virtualization using VMware ESX. VPN administration, Basic Network troubleshooting. Designed wireless security tightening.
Managing, Implementing of Active Virus Defense. Providing Desktop and file server virus protection all across the network tiers. Responsible for Security/ deployment/ implementation and design of Active Virus Defense. Administration and installation of security products including setting up Updates, Upgrades and Generating reports, checking and implementing solutions for vulnerabilities. Managing security for almost 50000 workstations and servers.
