Administrate the network having more than 700 users, having more than 40 high-availability production servers in clustered environment and 4 remote locations ensuring uptime and load balancing. Investigate user and network problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers, firewalls and switches; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; etc. Performs routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
Install, configure, and maintain Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems;
Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying
Access Control Lists.
Troubleshoot networks to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
Monitor network performance using the Orion NPM, Cisco Works to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
Recommend changes to improve network configurations, and determine hardware requirements related to such changes.
Monitor and troubleshoot Bosch IP cameras, PacketShaper, MGE APC network UPS, etc.,
Monitor and troubleshoot Tandberg Video Conferencing.
Configuring and troubleshooting L2/L3 switches & routers on the network.
Managing Network Infrastructure.
Maintaining network resources availability.
