▪ Working closely with the Regional Head of Buying and Merchandising, in planning and looking at the feasibility of strategies to be implemented across all the regions.
▪ Preparing annual sales plan and purchase budget (OTB) and monitoring the performance closely, for all the brands.
▪ Preparing annual marketing budget and comparing it with the actual spent, for all the brands.
▪ Responsible for preparing business reports and standardizing strategies across brands and teams.
▪ Preparing financial forecasts and sales projections based on currently available business data.
▪ Conduct weekly/monthly business meeting with Divisional Merchandise Managers, Buyers and Inventory Control to review business results on key performance metrics.
▪ Work with merchandising and marketing to develop promotional strategies. Analyze promotional effectiveness and make future recommendations.
▪ Manage Inactive inventory, working with Merchants on dispositions to ensure product is either returned, or proper markdowns are in place to help turn the goods.
▪ Engagement during the implementation of the IBM COGNOS BI (web-based, integrated business intelligence)
ensure smooth operation of business.
•Allocate & Distribute stocks from Warehouse (WH) to stores whenever required or requested.
•Update Sales rejects in the system by providing the correct information to the IT department & follow up and make sure that all sales rejects has been updated in the system.
•Update cost & retail prices in the system whenever required with the help of Brand IT team and check the updates prior to informing the stores.
•Prepare Sales & various Reports (From Oracle data warehouse) for Suppliers and Higher Management as & when required.
•Prepare Promotion sets for various markets
Handling Local and International ASN
•GRN reversal and Recalling Items
•Prepare stock take report/ Reconciliation report/ claims report.
•Processing with Pricing/editing/deletion of lines in system
•Handle store related report(Transfer/Supplier/Write off)
•Track shipment (International)
•Supports retail supply and W/H material procurement, ensuring product availability for existing and new.
•Leads on supply chain development and new supply initiatives.
•Develops the capabilities of the supply chain team through direction, coaching, and clear objectives.
•Responsible for data analysis for operational and storage solution design
•Liaise with IT, Distribution Operations and brand teams to coordinate key data transfers between the various systems to obtain necessary data.
•Working on Alshaya’ s Host Applications like
Operating calls and handling admin situations.
•Ensuring that the customer’s problem is brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
•Responded to customer inquiry calls, quickly assessing the consumers’ needs and problems in order to deliver an ideal solution.
•Performed on-line troubleshooting; identified problems, gave technical advice and followed up on scheduling.
•Answered as many as 60-70 calls a day from angry customers regarding delayed orders; employed a calm and professional manner to resolve concerns and guaranteed them delivery at the earliest.
•Built teamwork by eliciting problem-solving from each member.
