Responsible to provide leadership and management for company’s marketing and sales
functions.
* Responsible to strategize marketing and sales, and to direct the activities of the sales
division to ensure achievement of respective sales targets and business plans.
* Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies, objectives and plans.
* Manage, monitor and analyze marketing and sales activities against set goals.
* Direct and coordinate company marketing and sales functions through development of
strategy, tactics, marketing plans, sales plans and profit targets.
* Deliver sales by developing relationships with external as well as internal customers by
identifying and reporting business opportunities in target markets.
* Responsible to achieve targets for revenue, profitability, sales growth and ROI.
* Develop and manage marketing and sales budgets, and oversee the development and
management of internal operating budgets.
* Enhance the reputation and relationship of the company with key corporate clients /
accounts.
* Drive the development and implementation of marketing strategy, market studies, determine
trends, consumer demands/preferences, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’
operations on sales.
* Analyze marketing potential of new and existing geographical dealer locations, respective
sales statistics and expenditures to formulate decisions.
* Promote positive relations with partners, dealers, customers, outlets and distributors through
corporate communications PR and maintain the company maximum benefit out of that.
* Suggest new products for the business and provide strong sales point of view towards them.
* Consolidates the agreed strategy of each area, zone and sector; to allocate resources required
for the achievement of the same.
* Make accurate sales forecasts and manage pipelines based on regional market audits
conducted by the team.
* Convert pipelines opportunities into real orders by understanding the customer needs,
competitor’s edge and to customize sales approach accordingly.
* Maintain, manage, develop and motivate sales force and develop other personnel capabilities
to deliver the sales growth and market expansion to achieve targets.
* Show forward quarterly and annual progress in the sales results with a special focus on
margins and net revenues.
* Develop control mechanisms over sales plans, projected sales, sales process, delivery process
and collection process.
* Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate with the
management on all other accounts.
* Continuously arrange visits to all clients across the country, region and across the globe.
* Advice on developing prices and sales strategies based on competitor’s edge and customer
preferences.
* Sets out specific performance standards in key areas as retailers sales, whole sales, dealers
sales, and evaluate performance against these standards; coaches and assists the counter
parties in improving their performance.
* Set department budgets and ensure the cost of operations in the department is kept within
the sanctioned expenditure of the approved budget.
* Ensures that subordinates have the required knowledge, skills, competencies and experience
in order to reach the Department’s objectives.
