As the finance controller of Weylchem Group of Companies (subsidiary Group of ICIG) I have produced accounting and finance analysis. I also helped in the development of intercompany matching tools via Tagetik. I produce all the forecasting and budget processes together with the local teams at each site and help in the decision making. Other duties where I take part are the following:
• Analyse performance and profitability
• Managing internal and external audits
• Adhere to both financial and regulatory compliance of the company
• Review of internal control processes (O2C, Sales, etc.)
• Control cost activities
• Produce weekly/monthly financial reports
• Review Forex risks
• Compliance of all the tax maters
I helped targeting potential clients and I managed my own portfolio, as well as the elaboration of proposals, calculation of fees and management of the WOP.
At the ending of the audit projects, I elaborated the corresponding reports and memos.
- Coordination, review and supervision of work performed by the team,
- Responsible for planning, equipment availability and its composition,
- Supervision and advice of the assistants and team components, monitoring the execution of the project,
- Review of the corresponding work papers, verifying that the evidence is sufficient and adequate in all cases,
- Reporting the status of work progress to Team Manager and Partner, as well as the solutions to the possible problems detected,
- Execution of work in the most complex areas of the Society,
- Preparation of the corresponding reports,
- Annual Accounts Review,
- Monitoring compliance with deadlines and forms according to what is established with the client,
- Review of the period-end package, identification of potential adjustments and reclassifications, and proposal for the audit process,
- Development of reporting packages,
- Communication with the international coordinating offices of PwC in which the corresponding Headquarter is located,
- Special procedures under SOX
- Analysis of new amendments of the IFRS
