Responsibilities
•Prepare all PTW, Raise W. O’s using ISSOW and coordinate with planning section for outage, annual outage maintenance, MOS Program and short term preventive maintenance STPM.
•Maintain maintenance activities as a Safety Controller to ensure proper plant operation at all times.
•perform periodical control room and local operation the power and water plant and making accurate and timely decisions on matters affecting local plant processes and performance and consulting with the Shift Charge when necessary.
•Understand plant status at shift takeover and/or handover and exchanges important details to the shift team. Ensures accurate and detailed information is passed to the following shift.
•possessing a detailed understanding of Company safety rules and practical application of such in the field Leading to authorization to perform the role of a Designated Person and Safety controller.
•Operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner, following all plant procedures, health and safety policies and current operating practices.
•Monitor instrumentation readings for variances from prescribed operating standards and procedures.

•Monitor, record and trend readings from the plant control.
•Respond to any variances, adjust and maintain the proper operation of plant equipment.
•Visually inspect equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair or adjustments and report plant defects as a Maximo user.
•Report and/or correct unsafe conditions or hazards. (Leaks, slip hazards and safety deficiencies).
•Load dispatch center(LDC) coordination for optimum stability and full availability.
Responsibilities
•Operation of the plant, safety, reliably and efficiently to achieve plant performance and ensure optimum level of power and water export as required.
•Conducts routine plant checks i.e. plant round ups and completion of log sheets
•Perform operational actions (i.e. valve operation, switching on/off pumps or resetting the local alarms etc.) to avoid any abnormal plant operations or to correct existing abnormalities.
•Follows operational procedures and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled manner.
•Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feed water heaters, filters, and chlorinators, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power
•Monitor and inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
•Regulate equipment operations and conditions such as water levels, based on data from recording and indicating instruments
•Start or stop generators, auxiliary pumping equipment, turbines, and other power plant equipment, and connect or disconnect equipment from circuits.
•Take readings from charts, meters and gauges at established intervals, and take corrective steps.
•Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment such as generators, turbines, pumps, and compressors in order to prevent equipment failure or deterioration.
Responsibilities
•Adjust controls to generate specified electrical power, or to regulate the flow of power between generating stations and substations.
•Control and maintain auxiliary equipment, such as pumps, fans, compressors, condensers, feed water heaters, filters, and chlorinators, to supply water, fuel, lubricants, air, and auxiliary power.
•Control generator output to match the phase, frequency, and voltage of electricity supplied to panels.
•Make adjustments or minor repairs, such as tightening leaking gland and pipe joints.
•Open and close valves and switches in sequence upon signals from other workers, in order to start or shut down auxiliary units.
•Place standby emergency electrical generators on line in emergencies and monitor the temperature, output, and lubrication of the system.
•Start or stop generators, auxiliary pumping equipment, turbines, and other power plant equipment, and connect or disconnect equipment from circuits.
•Receive outage calls and call in necessary personnel during power outages and emergencies.
•Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs, and reports.
Responsibilities
•Operate the plant safely and efficiently during shift by leading a team of field operators and Control Room operators.
•Participate in the plant daily morning meeting giving input regarding plant operational needs. •Issue and cancel work permits in the capacity of Senior Authorized Person.
•Carried out the required isolation/de-Isolation in the process.
•Generate report such as generation reports, incident, accident and near miss.
•Make periodic rounds of power plant observing conditions, note abnormal conditions and take corrective actions.
•Write Daily Shift report for operational activities.
•Check and verify daily log sheets to determine proper operation of the device
•Performs periodic local plant test activities to ensure reliability of trip devices and standby plant equipment.
•Manages effectively plant transients in a safe and reliable manner.
• Performs local plant start-ups and shutdown as required.
•Planning and controlled changeover/ shutdown of plant equipment for maintenance purposes.
•Continuous monitoring in the field and analysis of equipment operating parameters for early prediction of equipment abnormal condition and initiate appropriate action to prevent unscheduled unit or equipment outage.
•Takes log readings and prepares shift reports and trip reports etc.
Responsibilities
•Operate the units in safe and reliable conditions through local or remote control.
•To know the state of equipment following parameters in the main control room and on the field. •Respond as needed to the energy variation requested by the dispatcher.
•Guarantee real property and people safety working in the plant watching over to respect the safety prescriptions and taking adapted safety measures if necessary.
•Assure the appropriate training of the staff to make that employees have the opportunity to develop and maintain their skills at the requested

•Fight the fire according to emergency plan designed for firefighting procedures.
