Company activity field: The refinery of ENOC, processing condensate or light crude oil to yield refined products that can be used within the local ENOC system, or exported to international markets.
Project:
JEBEL ALI REFINERY EXPANSION PROJECT, Dubai - EPC Contract
(investment value app.1 billion USD)- Contractor TECHNIP Italy Spa.
Project scope: increasing of existing refinery production from 140, 000 BPSD to 210, 000 BPSD of mixed condensates and production of low Sulphur/high octane gasoline, low Sulphur jet fuel and ultra-low Sulphur diesel (ULSD).
Project included Engineering, Procurement and Construction of new units:
•one 70, 000 BPSD condensate distillation unit (CDU);
•3 hydrotreater units, (40, 000 BPSD LPG/naphtha, 35, 000 BPSD kero and 30, 000 BPSD diesel units)
•30, 000 BPSD naphtha isomerization unit to upgrade light naphtha to isomerate, a key gasoline blend stock.
Responsibilities:
Contracts administration and Project Controls within the Project Management Team (PMT) set up by ENOC as Client, with the scope to monitor, control and ensure that EPC Contractor’s deliverables, activities and works are performed in full compliance with the requirements of the EPC Contract, ENOC Standard Engineering Documents and all applicable UAE codes, regulations and specifications, with the role to closely verify, control and update all costs related to the Project to be within the Project forecast budget:

•Developed sets of Specific Internal Procedures enhancing Client/Owner's protection, to be followed by PMT to ensure a properly guided /structured and smooth workflow within the Project in relation with the EPC Contractor. (Variations and Claims, Back charges, and Project Close-out procedures).
•Performed continuous monitoring of EPC Contractor’s activities, progress and performance and ensure compliance with the Contract
•Constant follow up of EPC Contract Variations solutioning in due time, constant update of Variations Register and interconnection with Invoices and Payments registers.
•Verify progress documentation from Contractor
•Monitor deliverables and compliance by Contractor.
•Preparation and launching the bidding packages, bidding evaluation and Contract award for Third Party Manpower, Purchasing and implementation of a new EDMS (Electronic Document Management System)
•Archiving and keeping track of all other contracts related to the Project (Third parties, Licensors, EDMS etc); constant updates of Registers for invoices and payments and related POs/ Service Orders/ Change Orders.
•Preparation of Project Progress Monthly Report for the management board.
•In charge of Project Risk Management: organized and conducted quarterly Project Risks Assessment Workshops with the PMT members and ENOC Stakeholders for the Risk Register and Top 10 Risks constant update. Mitigation actions plan provided and constant follow up for implementation.

Company activity field: Design, engineer, construct, install and deliver Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) systems, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) systems and Single Point Mooring (SPM) systems for oil companies worldwide.
Responsibilities:
1. Contracts administration for two projects for design and fabrication of oil and gas offshore infrastructure, executed on Gulf Piping Co Yard in Abu-Dhabi:
•New Suezmax Calm Buoys for Tedut And Tefran Terminals - BRAZIL, Client - Petrobras Brazil (Design, fabrication and delivery of three Monobuoys)
•Satah Al Razboot Field Development Project (SARB) Package 3 - ABU DHABI. UAE Client -ADMA OPCO UAE (Design, fabrication and delivery of a Single Point Mooring (SPM) buoy system.).
Main tasks:
•Compilation of full bidding package (ITB, SOW, Contract T&Cs) and management of the bidding evaluation process for local fabrication yard and Third Party Authority - Design Verifier and Fabrication Witness
•Contractual and General Terms and Conditions negotiation;
•Review and manage the Client’s and subcontractors’ correspondence and documents to determine compliance with the relevant contract Terms and Conditions.
•Monitor the compliance of both projects procurement with the Clients Approved Vendors List
•Approve in coordination with the project staff the subcontractor’s payment certificates and prepare all Progress Payment Reports for the Client.
•Verify the invoices (recommend for approval or rejection) and check progress against initial approved budget
•Assess and prepare response to and defense versus subcontractors’ claims.
•Monitor, evaluate and prepare fully supported estimates and claims for alternations /variations to the Contract Scope and substantiated/managed the same with Client for final settlement.
•Update of monthly cost reports for progress measurement, variations, back charges;
•Analyze and negotiate new rates / lump sum prices for additional scope of works;
•Updating quantities and cost at completion based on last revision of bill of quantities;
•Coordination and follows up for internal and Client audits.

2. Contracts management and asset cost control for Glas Dowr FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading system) (FPSO), leased to ENI Australia, operating in Timor Sea between Australia and East Timor.
Main tasks:
•Preparation of bidding packages, coordination of biddings’ process, award and post-award management of all FPSO Services Contracts necessary for proper operation (Provision of Helicopters, Supply Vessels, Warehouses both on Australian shore and East Timor shore, Catering Services on board of the FPSO, 24/7 Crew Medical Services) and all FPSO Operation and Maintenance contracts (yearly ROV mooring inspection, hull repair, hose overhaul, periodical onboard inspection services etc.)
•Preparation of Contract documents, amendments and variation orders in accordance with approved company policy.
•Coordination of contractual, commercial, taxation, insurance, HSES and legal issues with relevant stakeholders.
•Verification of invoices and progress against initial approved budgets, including approval or rejection of invoice and progress payment application
•Assisting the Project Management to estimate, establish and maintain project budgets, cost control estimates, expenditure phasing and progress data.
•Prepare monthly cost reports, forecast updates, variations analysis
