ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitoring and troubleshooting DC and DR Network devices using Solarwinds.
• Experience in IT service management (ITSM) with the help of the Service-Now Tool.
• Managing Network devices Routers, Switches, Checkpoint, Fortigate, and Load balancer (F5), WAF (F5), etc. deployed in DC and DR infra.
• To detect any suspicious alert/event incident in network devices and block those IPs over external firewalls in DC and DR.
• Troubleshooting HP Routers MSR-3024 & 3064 Models and CISCO ASR-1001 Routers and HP Switches.
• Monitoring and Policy implantation on Firewalls-Checkpoint (CP-23800) and Fortigate (1500D) both in on DC and DR.
• Configuring the rules on respective firewalls based on the request after getting a proper validation from DC & DR Manager and InfoSec.
• Alarm Monitoring & checking services on Load Balancers, F5- BIG-IP 4000 & 2000 boxes.
• Dealing with TATA, AIRTEL & Vodafone ISPs and raising cases as per need and follow up to make all working stable.
• To log a case with HP, Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortigate, F5 TAC for device configuration and change related to performance.
• Trouble ticket and Task creation for different applications.
• Updating network equipment’s to the latest firmware releases and making compliance report as per the requirements.
• Investigating faults in the network work on and escalate to a higher authority.
