Role and Responsibilities:
▪ Experience with the design of critical facility systems, including HVAC systems, Chilled Water and low-temperature
hot water Systems, Condenser Water Systems, hot/cold aisle containment, public health and drainage.
▪ Design experience with the following equipment types: cooling towers, water, and air-cooled chillers, CRAC units, Air
handling units with heating/cooling coils, Heat pumps, Indirect evaporative cooling units (IEC), Fan wall units, etc.
▪ Experienced in performing engineering calculations and equipment selections
▪ Experience in design and construction of facility fuel oil.
▪ Review technical submittals and equipment’s general arrangement drawings.
▪ Issuing and discussing RFIs with the project management technical team and Client.
▪ Attending project page turnover meetings.
▪ Leading the project BIM model walkthrough sync meeting with clients, DC operations and facility maintenance team,
and the main contractor to achieve project objectives.
▪ Attending BIM coordination workshops with other stakeholders and trades, highlighting and resolving issues through

▪ Collaborating with the Operations and Design team to develop Data Center mechanical designs for new DC project
build-outs and existing client fit-outs.
▪ Participating in value engineering workshops with stakeholders and IPD teams.
▪ Managing the production of engineering and construction drawing deliverables, as-built handover documentation,
and Information exchange delivery.
▪ Managing the modular design and fabrication of multi-disciplinary modules, Skids, modular plant rooms, and
mechanical systems.
▪ Working on concurrent projects, in multiple geographical regions in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
▪ Experienced in working with BIM360 design and collaboration environment, highlighting, resolving, and closing issues.
▪ Managed the site team in the installation of client fit-out data hall MOR, POE racks, fibre optic
containment.
Project- Sidra Medical and Research Centre (Hospital & Outpatient Clinic)
Sidra Medical and Research Centre is a design and build project and I worked on this project from November 2014, assisting the Design and Engineering department of Kentz engineering (Member of the SNC-Lavalin Group) in the capacity of Mechanical Design Lead.
Role and Responsibilities:
▪ Pharmacy design compliant with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines. Developed engineering drawings for construction.
▪ Reviewed and assisted in staircase pressurization design, preparing engineering construction drawings, liaison with
the engineer of record, and Qatar civil defense for approval of QCDD drawings for HVAC and life safety systems.
▪ Performed chilled water analysis and proposed solutions to mitigate the shortfalls, low flow, and high-pressure drops.
▪ Managed design progress of IMRIS suite with CFD analysis in coordination with external design consultant, reviewed
site and proposed solutions, and prepared engineering drawings for client approval.
▪ Performed design of helium extract, ventilation, and cooling system for MRI rooms.
▪ Performed engineering design for CSSD sterile services department, successfully managed operating theatre design
process.
▪ Reviewed and resolved on-site commissioning issues for test pack sign-off.
▪ Responsible for submission of Hospital building LPG system to local civil defense authority and contributed technically
to get it approved.
▪ Reviewed design of hospital specialized RO/DI water systems and submitted narratives and engineering drawing
proposals appended with engineering calculations for CSSD sterile, Dialysis departments to achieve design intent and
end-user requirements.
▪ Selection and preparation of material submittals for HVAC, plumbing, and specialist equipment like AHU, FCU, Pumps,
Staircase pressurization and smoke fans, Laminar flow diffusers, Venturi valves, grilles, RO/DI equipment, thermostatic
mixing valves, plumbing/drainage materials.
▪ Assisting and advising the Design Manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect
construction progress, quality, and the like.
▪ Ensuring work is executed according to contract specifications, approved issued for construction drawings, agreed
procedures, and method statements.
▪ Attending technical/site meetings with project consultant, Architect, and other interface contractors involved in the
project.
Project-Hamad International Airport (CP46 and CP51)
Role and responsibilities
▪ Evaluating and reviewing design documentation, drawings, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing components,
piping, and mechanical systems. Calculation and design Checks, issuing RFI.
▪ Guided AutoCAD Draftsman for the preparation of HVAC Shop Drawings, Plumbing Drawings, MEP Co-ordination
Drawings, Builders Layouts.
▪ Preparation of work method statements, Inspection test plans, and quality assurance documents.
▪ Assisting and advising the project manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect
construction progress, quality, and the like.
Project: The Pear Qatar
Role and responsibilities:
▪ Checked & Reviewed shop drawings to ensure they follow the design and are as per project specification and standards
and comply with local regulations.
▪ Review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of site works.
▪ Review the Contractor’s mechanical services material proposals against specified technical performance requirements
and advise the chief resident engineer on the appropriateness of the proposals.
▪ Undertake general project site observation/inspection of the mechanical services works for Contractor’s adherence
to the approved shop drawings and Consultant’s specification, good working practices, the construction schedule, and
health & safety.
▪ Undertake final project snagging and prepare list of defects for Contractor’s action
▪ Reviews and approve Contractor's change order request and variation so that legitimacy and extent can be confirmed.
Prepare and issue job site instructions for new works and modifications to the tender contract.
▪ Attends regular meetings with the Construction team, and the Client to report on progress and help resolve issues
where they arise.
▪ Clarifying the requirements of the Contract Documents for the Contractor via responding to RFI
▪ Review of piping and instrumentation drawings (P & IDs).
▪ Reviews contractors Commissioning procedures, As-Built drawings, and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
▪ Witnesses testing and commissioning and performance of various plant and pipe systems.
Project: Mall of Emirates Extension
Supervision Consultant for Retail fit out.
Project 1: Mirdif City Center
Project 2- 7WX Dubai Marina Residential Towers by Emmar
Preparation of material submittals for HVAC and plumbing.
▪ Evaluate design drawings and calculations for HVAC, plumbing components, piping, and mechanical systems to satisfy
target requirements throughout the design process and contribute to content and direction.
▪ Selection of Chillers, Cooling Towers, Chilled water Pumps, Sidestream Filtration Units, Kitchen Exhaust Fans, Chemical
Dosing System, Expansion Tanks, Air Separators, Valves, AHUs, FCUs, Ventilation fans, Grills & Diffusers, etc as per
specifications & requirements.
▪ Installation of Staircase pressurization and car park ventilation system.
▪ Preparation of shop drawings for HVAC duct and piping services.
▪ Performed Pump head, cooling load, and External static pressure calculations for AHU and FCUs
▪ Preparation of Material Take off (MTO) and preparing indents for Equipment, Pipes, Valves, Fittings, Supports,
Ducting, Grilles, Diffusers, Dampers, etc, and following up with the Purchase department for the procurement of the
same. Preparation and updating of Material control chart for the project.
▪ Reviewing project specifications and design drawings for RFIs and issuing to consultants for clarification.
▪ Coordinating the works with other contractors, and liaison with consultants for site inspections.
▪ Preparation of QA/QC checklist and documents
