As part of the Investment Operations team, I am currently working for the client "GCM Grosvenor" on their private equity investment funds' operations and accounting. My work includes preparation of cash summaries by analyzing the transactions that hit the funds' accounts, reporting of the performance capital and distribution of quarterly gains to the investors. Also, working on a compliance project in relation to the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act. (FATCA)

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
• Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

As an accountant at Integr8 Software Products & Services Pvt. Ltd. I had an opportunity to work for Classical Palace (Qatar) for six months, designated as Accounting Consultant, during the implementation of new ERP software.

• Analysis, review and summarization of client financial information that includes Income statement and Balance sheet.
• Rollover of the financial information from prior year to current year.
• Review and e-filing of tax returns
• Working on the initiate, manage and wrap-up activities for the purpose of providing Tax services to our clients.
• Compliance audit and wrap-up of the engagement and preparation of Invoices.
• Preparing budget reports and budget-to actual reports of the engagements.

Maintaining books of accounts i.e. journal, ledger, etc.
Timely communication with banks, handling letter of credit, banking applications and various other transactions
Reconciliation of accounts
Accounting receivables and invoicing as per the contracts/agreements
Accounting payables and preparation of cheques for suppliers
Computation of salaries with regards to exit and vacation
Assisting in the preparation of cash flows, income statement and balance sheet
Preparation of presentations for meetings, etc.
