MENA Business Development Analyst / GCC Assistant Manager of Retail Operations (Feb 2012 onwards)
Key Responsibilities
✓ Develop, coordinate and implement marketing and sales plans for FMCG, F&B, and Apparel line of products industry to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities
✓ Involve in strategic marketing and operations planning with top executives for setting objectives and methods to accomplish the same.
✓ Stay aware of organizational growth initiatives regarding regional market and target customer segments, and company's potential to meet the customer needs with the product / services
✓ Accountable for region's forecasting / sales tracking and setting a vision for region along with developing and adhering to a business plan to attain the vision
✓ Engage in the full scope of business - to - business sales and marketing, operational management; Skilfully sought out new business opportunities for organizations
✓ Implement strategies that reduce cost, streamline process, improve efficiency and drive sustainability; Supervising and directing all retail operations and administrative functions of department.
✓ A key member of the business unit management team and involved in the strategic planning process with primary focus on strategic marketing and product planning.
✓ Combine operating strategy, P&L tracking, and money management to effectively administer the company income and save money in the long run;
✓ Key person to decide on the resources needed to reach and establish process to achieve the same. Identifying both current and future customer needs regarding existing or new product development
✓ Ensure that the company plays a major role in emerging markets by assisting with market research and in-field support;
✓ Implement the strategic marketing plan with CEO, Directors, and Account Managers that continually positions the company as the industry leader in its targeted niche.
✓ Hold additional responsibility of Assistant Retail Operations Manager GCC and ensure all retail functions are optimized to the best level
Key Achievements
✓ Achieved up to 45% market share for 3 brands in 2 years, and increased sales by 111% within 3 months for 1 brand
✓ Expanded brand footprint for 2 brands in over 15 countries in 3 years
