Responsible for dealing with anything relating to the
ordering of materials, services and supplies of the company.
Duties :
+ Responsible for executing entire sourcing process starting with
supplier assessment through RFQ, quote analysis, negotiation,
Supplier selection.
+ Ensuring all goods & Services are purchased according to the
Company policy.
+ Working closely with warehouse & engineering teams and
vendors to keep an eye on the latest development in the market.
+ Generating and implementing purchasing strategy.
+ Managing existing vendor and supplier relationships.
+ Responding to internal and external suppliers.
+ Approving bills of payment.
+ Holding meeting with potential suppliers and asking them
searching questions.
+ Monitoring returns, damage replacements and warranty claims.
+ Verify the RFQ documentation is accurate and complete, allowing
suppliers to provide accurate quotations and to build to
specifications.
+Work with cross-discipline teams to both qualify and regularly audit
the supplier.
+ Track Cost of materials to control the purchasing cost.
+ Make effective use of Maximo 7.5 for completion of all segments
of procurement.
+ Negotiating Inco Terms and Payment Terms with Overseas
Vendors.
+ Coordinating Freight Forwarders and customs for the clearance of
overseas shipments.
+ Conducting research via trade publication, the Internet,
Catalogues and trade shows to identify potential suppliers.

New Projects - Ensure that MEP Project work is carried out in accordance with the required quality, time and cost constraints. Co ordination and administration of MEP related material, equipment and drawing submittals in accordance with the specifications. Issuing Purchase Orders as after working out the equipment & material Quantity. Follow up closely procurement schedules and confirmations of delivery for equipments and materials. Ensuring that MEP work is executed on site in accordance with the Contract drawings, specifications, agreed procedures and method statements. Review, control and approval of MEP Subcontractor’s Work Procedures and method statements. Carry out inspections on site and ensure that the installation is in accordance with specification. Ensuring that the MEP subcontractor provides and adheres to the necessary control documentation in an orderly and organized way. Ensure that As Built Drawings and O& M Manauals and related documentation are prepared, reviewed, submitted and approved in a timely manner and in accordance with contract requirements. Checking that MEP valuations correspond with progress and checking of variations. Produce a report on performance of MEP Contractors.
Projects Executed - ADMA ADGAS HQ Air Water Balancing, ADGAS BNC Villa & Refurbishments of HVAC Works in Hospitals.
Maintenance - Act as a focal point among various divisions of Project Execution. Coordination with Subcontractors of BMS, Water Treatment, Medical Gas, Elevators, UPS & Fire Fighting System. Preparation of project schedule. In charge of Materials Purchase and Materials Mgmt of Site. Arranging the material. Arranging the manpower. Site execution with close co ordination to Facility site engineers. Preparing weekly progress report. Attending weekly co ordination meetings. Maintenance Sites - Shiekh Khalifa Medical City, ADMA ADGAS HQ, ADNOC SKEC & Floating Sites.
