I have Diverse experience of Accounts Management as well. For a Duration of about Two Years remained employed with Raffi Sons Limited while continuing My Real Estate Business as part Time.
Hospitality Industry Nov 2008 to Dec 2012
I also developed keen interest in hospitality industry and worked as Secretary DeSOM (Defence Services Officers Mess) formerly known as Services Club Lahore Cantonment, the oldest club in Pakistan tracing back its history to pre partition era i.e.1846. This assignment encompassed:
Management and control of a member base of around 5800 (including the members from all walks of life). Interviews and induction of new members
Management, operations and control of 4 banquette halls with varying capacities from 80 to around 600 persons.
Management Control and Operations of VVIP lodges and VIP lodges and luxury suites.
Facilities Management, Tunnel Ventilation, HVAC and Central Air Conditioning of Residential Outfit Designed for VVIPs.
Operation and control of 5 restaurants with various cuisines i.e. like Fast food, Pakistani, Chinese and Mediterranean etc.
Managing the sports and other excursion facilities for the members.
Tendering and contracts for purchases of DeSOM over4.00 Millions a month.
Organizing fun fare, galas and other major events for the members.
I had an HR base of over 300 assisting me in managing these facilities.
Telecom Sector (Broadband) 1999 to 2008
In July 1999 I was inducted in WorldCall, Worked as Manager Business development for introduction and promotion of Payphone Business in Pakistan Army Institutions specially in Northern Areas under auspices of SCO ( Special Communication Organization).
December 1999 Worked as Manager RF Planning for roll out of WLL Project.
July 2000 was transferred for a new HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) Project first ever in Pakistan and Worked as Manager in the designing, planning of OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) and OSP (Outside Plant) for roll out phase.
January 2002 was Promoted as Senior Manager OSP during expansion phase and also managed all the operations of deployed HFC Plant in Lahore for a duration of one and half year. An additional responsibility was also given for establishing of a diagnostic laboratory for undertaking indigenous repairs of imported inventory.
July 2003 I was promoted as DGMTO (Deputy General Manager Technical Operations) and was responsible for expansions, operation and Management of HFC Plant. Besides that R&D was also undertaken in newly established laboratory.
January 2005 was promoted as GMTO (General Manager Technical Operations) which encompassed planning, deployments and operations of Entire HFC Plant inclusive of ISP and OSP. While ensuring efficient and qualitative performance by all components of my outfit.
Effective management of human resource for the project.
I was instrumental in signing of a JV OFCD (Optical Fiber Cable Ducts) Project with CDA Islamabad. This JV was based on exclusivity for duration of 30 years
