Key Responsibilities (Responsible for MENAP)
Responsible for strategy development of Imodium and Tylenol brands (30% of total OTC portfolio), including the NPI launch of Imodium Instants in the MENAP region. Leads budget management as well as the Artwork process for the entire OTC portfolio (8 brands - 4% of total MENAP business). Close collaboration work with the cross-functional partners, such as Regulatory, Demand Planning, Commercial, etc. to deliver consistent year on year category and sales growth.
Supports Business Planning by defining and developing year on year brand growth strategies in collaboration with the Professional team to expand business capabilities & evolve the OTC business. Leads sub-cluster meetings across the entire OTC portfolio to align and cascade media, NPI and distribution plans to ensure OTC remains a priority. Active results tracking process to ensure execution excellence in all MENAP markets.
Key Responsibilities (Responsible for Gulf Levant and KSA)
Insures correct processes are followed in Healthcare Professionals and Johnson & Johnson Professional Marketing team interactions by obtaining necessary documentation and approvals. Leads the process of creation and closure of a Healthcare Compliance related requests in internal system throughout. Controls budget spend for the team as well as insures, that all spend records are kept in a correct manner and follow proper billing and closure. Initiates and facilitates the Due Diligence process for all Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) for the EMEA region.
• Delivered full closure of outstanding Healthcare Compliance (HCC) related requests for 2016 and 2017 (230+)
• Improved budget tracking and spend controls by developing suitable tools and techniques, that insured a smooth end of year closure of all financial aspects, including spend reporting, PO closure and vendor billing
• Resolved and streamlined HCC request creation and closure processes
• Reduced HCC request closing time down to a maximum of 30 days after the event date
• By developing and establishing clear requirements and processes could drop a rate of Unplanned Deviations from 37% in 2016 down to 6% in 2017
• In conjunction with other teams, could insure timely initiation of Due Diligence renewal for business critical TPIs
• Became a part of procurement related processes - such as vendor selection and bidding
Key Responsibilities (Responsible for Continental Europe, Eurasia, APAC and ME)
Controls logistics compliance and billing in Eurasia and Continental Europe as well as accounts in the Middle East and Africa. Provides with extensive support for development and enhancement of existing accounts as well as an in-depth introduction to the processes and requirements for new vendors and countries. Compiles monthly cost accrual documents and tracks correct cost distribution for services rendered.
• Generated over $200, 000 in annual savings by introducing new accounts controlling techniques
• Improved invoice submissions and vendor accounts transparency for Eurasia and Continental Europe countries
• Resolved and streamlined challenged accounts for the Middle East vendors
• Reduced rejection rate from 30% to 6% for Russia accounts.
Maintains a process essential to validate the accuracy of all revenue and adjustment postings. Investigates all complimentary rooms, market code statistics report, Miscellaneous and Adjustment vouchers, managers’ checks, rate discrepancies, balancing of all interface systems, such as SUN and Micros, and the accuracy of the Managers Report. Ensures that all revenues are correctly posted into the PMS system and accurately reported in the General Ledger. Checks the Trial Balance daily and produces the Gross Revenue Report for the stakeholders.
• Created detailed complimentary Rooms and F&B facilities report for top management for the control enhancement
• Increased efficiency of payroll management by developing a procedure for organizing and maintaining the format for F&B and Rooms incentives
• Developed policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the income audit
Reconciles processed work by authenticating entries and comparing system reports to balances. Allocates expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports. Schedules and prepares checks/bank payments; Resolves purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation. Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. Validates vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Enhanced operational efficiency by developing Local Standard Operating Procedures
• Created additional reports for a better visibility of discrepancies between SUN and Micros systems
• Provided with a comprehensive analysis to stream-line vendor payment schedule that is the most beneficial for the business
