•Technical support and advice for Food, Non-Food and Frozen items
•Evaluation of supplier’s submitted documents of ISO 22000 /ISO9001 /BRC/HALAL/ECAS/IFS/HACCP from authenticated certificating and certification bodies (approved by IAF) and others.
•Well detailed study of submitted specifications and related documents against GSO standards.
•Identifying and communicating with suppliers for any kind of banned ingredients or food additives present on the submitted samples (Food/Non-food/Frozen).
•Participating as a member of Sensory panellist for the evaluation of food and frozen products
•For Non-food products, authenticated lab analysis (ISO 17025 certified labs) with specific requirements were performed especially for active matter, performance, stability etc.
•Food / Frozen products, depend on the product nature (high risk/low risk), if required external lab analysis will be performed.
•Communicating with supplier regarding the products evaluation results and improving the samples as per PDD’S benchmark product (Food/Frozen/Non-food).
•Providing prompt response and carry out follow up of explanation for customer complaints.
•Team up coordination with Buyers and designing concerns for label preparation
•As per GSO standards rectify Label art works (Nutrition Table, Ingredients etc.) and final proof approval by verifying the same.
•Communicating with Ware house (QA) personnel regarding receiving inspection, online inspection reports etc.
•Register products on Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) to Re-Export
•Helping hand to Product Re-Export to GCC countries
•Managing and supervising merchandisers in UAE, regarding Private Label Products.
Lead generation: Finding new businesses that can work with fresh water aquaculture and retail Sales & Distribution.
Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients.
Ensuring the CRM is updated with client information and expected close dates.
Drafting and sending proposals to clients.
Following up with deals in the pipeline and pushing to close them.

Update the weekly price of the products to the approved customers after discussing with GM
Taking order daily basis from the customers for the next day deliveries
Communicate the order quantity to the harvest team and make sure they are arranged it on time
Prepares the invoices according to the order and split the same to corresponding regional distribution drivers and handover the same to them
Arrange required quantity of fish variants for the exclusive outlet at Abu Dhabi from Dubai Wholesale market.
Follow up with Exclusive outlet in-charge for attractive display and sales updation on daily basis
Make sure the delivery of the vehicle are started on time and keeps the delivery tracking continuously and database of vehicle log is maintained.
Vehicles service history are maintained and keeps updated with valued quotations
Invoices received after delivery are collected, verified and handover to accounts dept.
If there is any returned or complains on the products, which will communicate to GM regularly
Petty cash collection from the accounts for the supportive goods purchase and requirements from the Island is properly maintained and invoices of the same is revert to accounts
Records of the allowances approved for sales team is documented and details are giving to accounts for the immediate fund release.
Cheque collection is carried out in systematic manner and completes the same before second week of every month.
Visits Lulu Hypermarkets, Carrefour, KM Trading etc to meet the supervisors and managers of the concerned sections and talk about business improvement and support
Physical verification and signing of the remaining goods at every month end carried out along with Fish and Shrimp supervisors at harvest site.
Random checking at Exclusive outlet at Abu Dhabi and physical stock has been verified in person
Market price is continuously monitored and update the same with regular suppliers for better price
Stock of the product is checked with harvest team before every month to plan and execute the sales for coming month
Acts according to the market trends to grab the business opportunities for achieving the sale targets
Conduct meeting with sales team and drivers in every week to discuss about sales, targets, promotions, market trends, issues and solutions
Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
Prepare campaigns and promotional activities for the Private Labe brand
Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion of competition ventures
Coordinate with Warner Bros and Disney team to develop new products as co-branding to collective sale growth in all regions.
Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
Collaborate in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
Work in coordination with commercial team and merchandisers
Manage the production of marketing materials like visuals or social media content
Preparing necessary photo shoots.
Organise and attend events

Discuss & follow up with the merchandisers in display matters and sales growth improvement measures.
Conducting shop visits and identifying the scope of improving the business.
Monitoring of sales in each outlet of all regions.
Giving previous year sales report of the month (YTD & MTD) for making a better understanding about sales generated by each category.
Communicate with the regional coordinators about the sales reports and stock details.
Giving details of upcoming promotions to the merchandisers in UAE region.
Checking the stock status of promotion items in all outlets and follow up.
Making arrangements for special displays for promotion items.
Communicating with the shop managers and other concerns to improve the sales through improving the displays.
Checking the movement of our products in all 10 days & get the appropriate reason from the merchandiser if any issues found.
Planning for the product wet sampling promotions at outlets and get the approval from ADFCA prior to the promotion.
Making necessary arrangements for the liquidation of near expiry stock in warehouse& Shops.
Provide special in store promotions for the weak categories of each outlet.
Checking the stock status of fast moving items & informing the concern buyers for arranging the stock.
Dealing with delivery issues in outlets & clearing the problems.
Conducting Regional visits on weekly Basis
A sales target to be set in line with region’s private label annual target. Which will be split into quarters and communicate the same with outlet managers and merchandisers to achieve the same.
Any complaints on products to be reported to QC immediately. Product with complaint should be obtained from the concerned shop and send to QC.
Price comparison to be notified and act by reporting the concern.
Promotional activities to be planned in very effective manner with promoters
Performing duties and responsibilities in complete harmony with the seniors and colleagues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Plan and coordinate production engineering and employees on daily basis to produce high quality products. Give necessary instructions if needed.
•Run Caustic Soda and Nitric Acid to clean each component of the production plant before new batch.
•Take immediate actions to run the plant smoothly if any undesired actions occur and then investigate problems, analyze root cause and derive resolutions.
•Quality analysis (Fat, SNF, COB, Acidity, Flavor, MBRT) of pasteurized milk before taking into packing.
•Stay close with the employees to make sure that works are in right place. If any unsafe operations and practices are found, report to the Production Supervisor.
•Keep the Major file to identify positions of all other department registers. Make sure that each register document all the ongoing process of the particular section
FILTER CAP”: A COMBINATION OF ACTIVATED CARBON AND BIOMASS
Aims and Objectives:
•To compare the filtration efficiency of fungal biomass and activated carbon beds.
•To study the efficiency of combination of filter from biomass and activated carbon.
•To check the metal binding and bacterial retention efficiency of formulated filters.
•To design a filter cap
Conclusion:
The increased need for pure water resulting from uncontrolled exploitation of water resources demands novel purification methods. The limitations of existing purification systems are mainly limited accessibility and larger economic burden. The current study was mainly focused in developing a water purification system with fungal biomass and activated carbon. From the results it can be observed that combination of biomass and activated carbon removed more metal ion when compared with that of biomass or activated carbon alone. A portable filter was designed and tested for efficiency. The filter effectively removed 92.16% of microbial load and 76% of metal ions. More studies are required to develop ‘Filter Cap’ into a commercial product that can aid in providing pure water to a larger population.
