During my internship, Jones Lang Wootton has located me to several departments which is Valuation, Estate Agency, Property Management and Research and Consultancy. In each departments, I have been assigned to different responsibilities. The first department that I have been assigned to is Valuation Department where my main duty is to assist Valuer in preparing valuation report which include site inspection, title search, valuation of property and writing report. While in Estate Agency Department, my responsibilities are assisting Estate Agent in sales and marketing and preparing database of listings. I have also been assigned to search for recent properties transactions by public listed companies in the main board of Bursa Malaysia to use as comparable for the listings. My role in Property Management Department is to assist building manager in regular maintenance and management as well as preparing the monthly maintenance report and conducting periodical building inspection. My last department in Jones Lang Wootton is Research and Consultancy Department. In this department I have to conduct research on industrial property within Klang Valley area (Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) covering all completed industrial projects, newly launched projects and also future industrial projects. Jones Lang Wootton has given me the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience on real-world working environment in which can benefit me in the future.
