Projects with BP Exploration, Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Republic
Row Erosion Control Services; Stabilization of soil erosions and soil conservation; Construction of channels and
dams; Slope protection and soil forming; Constructions of roads, warehousing premises, bridges and sheds
Support Management on all HSE matters including compliance with local legislations to ensure effective
H&S policy & management system are implemented. Provide support for contracts to establish
applicable HSE requirements and standards; Cooperate with vendors/providers to insure best in class
maintenance and services as per established schedules.
• Develop, implement and administer HSE Management System and Loss Prevention, and ensure
adherence to all federal and state regulations. Formulate, develop and review specific instructions,
policies and procedures in accordance with all relevant technical rules and specifications applicable to
the activities. Review the achievements of HSE objectives and make improvements to the HSE manual;
• Establishing objectives for KPI, regular review of the progress and performance and setting appropriate
methods to achieve the goals; Establish and ensure implantation of best safety practices;
• Participate in all safety committees and analyze all job hazard activities and ensure compliance to all
OSHA guidelines;
• Conduct risk analysis to determine the hazards and establish appropriate control measures prior the
project commencement. Deciding priorities and close out H&S related short and long term actions and
objectives. Participation in HAZID/HAZOP studies;
• Develop and implement efficient global operations emergency response plans. Manage and provide
support to execution of emergency response and design solutions and required business tools;
• Prepare and implement the Project HSE Plan with further review and required improvement;
• Establish and maintain a system incident reporting, investigation and analysis. Make sure all incidents are
properly recorded, reported and investigated with further corrective actions established and Safety Alerts
to be communicated throughout the project/company/client/contractors. To assist Site Management in
the investigation of incidents, perform root cause analyses and submit timely Initial Traction Incident
Report;
• Plan and implement HSE programs and promotional activities (e.g. inspections, campaigns, meetings).
Coordinate and assist site HSE representatives providing with information on safety programs, inspections
and audits, corrective actions, etc. Assist Industrial Hygienists in on-site IH activities. To participate self-
inclusive and deploy HSE responsible personnel to monitor and maintain safety and health to ensures all
security devices are functional and tested at proper intervals, to prevent and fight fires, respond to
accidents and control environment pollution;
• To monitor work in progress in order to help and coach the workforce to identify violations of safe working
practices. Participate in planning meetings and toolbox talks. Investigate employee/contractors
complaints relating to health, safety and welfare;
• Design safety training programs and ensure response to all specific requirements and maintain knowledge
of all company safety programs. To conduct Site Inductions and in house awareness trainings for
management/employees/site personnel/contractors, etc;
• Monitor all conservation and protection programs and maintain hygiene at facility at all times and
prepare required status reports;
• Supervise management of all hazardous waste and maintain records of same and evaluate all air and
storm water permits and maintain documents for same and ensure compliance to all HSE programs.
