 Scheduling, preparing and administering work tasks to warehouse staff
 Maintaining physical inventories of products
 Assisting workers to resolve day-to-day operational issues
 Comparing the physical inventory in the warehouse with the records of inventory on hand
 Ensuring accurate and timely entering and publishing of data for warehouse transactions
 Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage
 Ensuring that trucks are loaded and unloaded properly with appropriate documentation
 Performing departmental and area housekeeping to ensure space is clear, safe and storage is maximized
 Ensuring all scheduled outbound shipments are delivered on time and accurately
 Communicating with vendors if there are delays in outbound shipments
 Directing inventory movement throughout the warehouse
 Ensuring that shipments are ready for delivery
