Storage provisioning & Automation
Metro mirror & Flash copy configuration
Performing DR Drills
Troubleshooting of various issues in the SAN environment.
Fabric switch zoning activities in Brocade SAN switches.
Takes care of all the required Software installations & Firmware upgrades
Backup & restoration of the Brocade Fabric Switch configurations.

Responsibilities:
•Experience on SAN and NAS provisioning, decommissioning, migrations
•Configuring flash copy, volume mirror, Metro mirror
•Worked with different storage vendors in coordinating & fixing issues
•Experience in troubleshooting on Storage related issues like storage pool, database issues, path errors, utilization levels & hardware issues
•Understanding & experience working on Windows, VMware & AIX OS platforms
•Coordinating with other domain leads in carrying out major activities
•Provide "on-call" support after business hours and during weekends when required
•Created SOP’s for Storage to assist them during day to day operations
•Taking configuration backup of all SAN switches and storage devices
•Firmware upgrades for Storage & SAN switches
•Complete change management assessments & Project management
•Create change management strategy
•Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
Wintel Responsibilities
•Experience and knowledge with installing and implementing VMware ESXi server, VMware virtual center, Setting up V-Motion, Cluster - HA, DRS, and related VMware product
•Trouble shooting knowledge on ESXi performance and vCenter performance
•Assist in validating system resource requirements of new servers to be deployed as VM’s
•Participate in physical to virtual migrations to include the planning, analysis, coordination, execution and troubleshooting throughout the lifecycle of migration efforts
•Analyze software and hardware constraints to plan for new user requirements (capacity planning)
•Monitor the health and performance of the VMware infrastructure and virtual machines
•Server Consolidation with VMware Converter (P2V Conversions) of windows server 2003, 2008
