My mission as BD Manager for the Mother Company at Lebanon was to enlarge the MMG business thru three main action plans:

1- Contacting new prospects and promoting them to Accounts and Opportunities.
o Definition of Marketing strategy and identification of new business sectors that might be interesting to the company.
o Identification of Competition and put strategy about how to avoid such completion (Blue Ocean strategy).
o Meetings with new leads, presentation of MMG services and discussing the clients’ needs against MMG expertise aiming to provide a continuous supply of leads to our sales pipeline.
o Site visits to new projects, preparation of costing elements and defining sale prices
o Implementation of new CRM by Microsoft to manage all sales chain of tasks up to projects closing.
o Renewal of existing contracts and enlarging these agreements horizontally whenever new scope is applicable.

2- Strategic Planning: Evaluation of new markets outside Lebanon.
Responsible to explore new markets and prepare the feasibility study and business plan. This mission was done for Syria, Jordan, Morocco and EEG.

3- Identification of New (FM Related) Products needed in the Lebanon Market:
As part of the Blue Ocean strategy we were following, we identified a set value engineering services that are in relation with the Facilities Management Solution and that bring the Edge of Services to our customers.

Energy Efficiency Services:
It was based on a simple public need in the market: How to Reduce the Total Energy Bill?
Energy audits were a combination of Engineering recommendations and financial return on investment study. The market feedback to this new product was very positive.

Value Engineering Services:
We tailored many services that were needed by our customers such as:
o Design and installation of automation solutions
Facilities management audits.
CMMS tailored solutions

Leading the crew 18 project managers and project engineers with more than 60 skilled technicians.
o Ensure right execution of all MMG contracts by delivering MMG contractual commitments
o Monitor Profit and loss of all projects
o Ensure continuous customer satisfaction and resolution of pending problems
o Assure proper development for all operations staff.

In charge of all the procurement and contracts administration activities, such as suppliers qualifications, bidding for subcontracted woks, negotiation and renewal of subcontract agreements, sourcing new markets for needed spare parts and technical services, commercial works, etc.

Leading team of technicians and team leaders for the maintenance works at Byblos Bank Head Quarters, a newly built smart building of 28 floors equipped with latest technologies in lighting, BMS, security and HVAC systems

A leading contracting company at Saudi Arabia specialized in the construction of turnkey High voltage, medium voltage, industrial and residential projects.

Jan. 1998 - Nov.1999: Assistant Operations Manager
Project Management, customer relation, procurement and site follow up of major Turn Key projects such as 132 KV and 13.8 KV substations and power generation plants (80 and 120 MVA GE turbines from GE)

Jan. 1997 - Dec.1998: Site Electrical Engineer
Leading team of 40 technicians for all the electrical site installations of the “400 kV. /132 KV. Aqaba Substation and 400 KV. Cable Termination Station Project”. Aqaba, Jordan, as consortium partner with Reyrolle UK


Dec.1995-Jan.1997: Project Coordinator
Project: “ 400 kV. /132 KV. Aqaba Substation and 400 KV. Cable Termination Station Project”. Assisting the Project Manager at head office in building the project budget, fulfilling all project coordination works, design, procurement, delivery of long lead items to site, building the site team and site mobilization works


Oct.1994-Dec.1995: Site Electrical Engineer
On site junior engineer at the ‘132KV / 13.8KV Four Jeddah Substations Project’, as main contractor with Merlin Gerin who supplied the 13.8kV and 132kV SF6 Switch Gear, contributing in various electromechanical installations, crew management and commissioning of various systems
