From Aug 2014 to present as a Renewable energy& Power modernization Manager in Etisalat Misr
•Scope& Responsibilities: Establish and create a new entity which responsible about evaluation and implementation of all new Green energy solutions in addition to Modernize all power system for VIP access sites with high capacity rectifier to increases power resilience for those sites.
•Accomplishment highlights:
o Convert the power source for 100 sites to be solar system
o Implement 150 Hybrid system on generator sites
o Implement 400 system free cooling
o Introduce Solar-hybrid concept which implemented in 10 sites until now
o Introduce DC- Solar hybrid concept
o Total OPEX saving more than 30MEGP per year
o Implement 400 high capacity rectifier to increase the power resilience for those sites
oLead continuous improvement and OPEX
o ptimization reduction processes.
o Mentor and coach direct reports
From Jun 2009 - Aug 2014 as a project/Program manager in Etisalat Misr PMO
•Scope& Responsibilities: Control and lead multiple Project to achieve particular strategic goals in various fields (Power /Security enhancement, OPEX reduction & Access network KPI’s improvement). Total projects budget during this period exceed 10 M$
•Accomplishment highlights:
o In 2013 &2014 responsible for a Power enhancement program with budget around 5 M$ to enhance power backup for all VIP sites and deploy a new green solutions to save. The program award the excellence project in 2014 across technical Dep. and the green award across Etisalat group
o In 2012 responsible for a Risk mitigation program with budget around 3 M$ to maintaining and build up optimum levels of network security including 7 sub-project (CCTV, automatic access system, master key, etc...) which lead to reduce theft incident by 30%
o In 2010 responsible for a Complete KPI enhancement project for Cairo area with budget 2 M$ to enhance all KPI within Ericsson vendor.
From Jun 2007 - May 2009 as 2G&3G BSS Operation Sr. Engineer in Etisalat Misr
• Scope& Responsibilities: Control and lead Huawei manage service in Upper Egypt and Sinai region. With full responsibility in all Operation tasks (New sites creation, Expansion, BSC integration, BSC migration, TCR functions test…etc.)
• Accomplishment highlights:
o Migrate the first BSC in Etisalat Network based on Huawei core.
o Integrate more than 3 new BSC, 300 new sites & 8 CIC test
o Contribute in software upgrade for more than 7 BSC’s from BSS004 ver. to BSS008 ver.
From Jun. 2004 - Jun2007 as GSM Deployment Engineer in Motrola Int.- Egypt
• Scope& Responsibilities: Deploy and integrate all BSS Network elements based on Motorola portfolio under Mobinil project (Commissioning and integration for BTS, BSC, TCR & PCU )
• Accomplishment highlights:
o Commissioning more than 10 BSCs & 30 RXCDRs in Mobinil project.
o Upgrade/downgrade more than 200 sites in both Cairo and Alex regions.
o Swap more than 15 sites form Alcatel to Motorola in both Cairo and Alex.
