Internship Experience
1. National Drilling Company, ADNOC (scored A) (April - June, 2010)
• Training explained the whole drilling processes in the NDC, how to drill the wells, how to make the drilling program and fill the form. Also, the fully details about rigs, circulation process, and cuttings.
• Learned how to describe and categorize samples and cuttings according to lithologic borehole logging.
• Field trip in 5 different locations of Al Ain City showing the study of evaluating ground water recourses to provide recommendations for development and protection of ground water
• Worked with USGS on a project of ground water prospecting in Al Jabeeb area, borehole geophysical equations was used to determine TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) and water Quality for each well, finally had all the data in one sheet for GR, IMPH, IDPH, MLFS and NDPH logs. Geosoft Oasis Montaj program was used to process and plot lithologic data, geologic formations data and borehole geophysical data for each well in Al Jabeeb area. Also, cross section was created for certain wells in this area
