Financial Accounting & Reporting: Preparing and examining financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP principles. General Ledger Management: Handling journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring the accurate recording of all business transactions. Reconciliation & Auditing: Performing monthly bank reconciliations, vendor/client statement reconciliations, and assisting in internal and external audit preparations. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of departmental budgets and financial forecasts to aid management decision-making. Cost Analysis: Analyzing and tracking operational costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and preparing variance reports. Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR): Processing invoices, managing vendor payments, tracking customer payments, and monitoring aging reports. Taxation: Basic understanding of corporate taxation procedures and assisting in the preparation of routine tax filings (if applicable). Data Integrity: Maintaining strict data integrity and confidentiality for all financial information. Process Improvement: Utilizing analytical skills to suggest improvements for efficiency in accounting workflows and documentation processes.
