• Review & analyze the customer requirements & specifications of the major equipment related to substation protection scope.
• Follow-up with through out the project stages from tendering stage, design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and testing and commissioning of all protection related equipment's.
• Attend meetings with all project parties to follow the project design progress.
• Intervene the correspondences with the client and attend meetings to discuss the technical submittals and get the final approval.
• Support in tendering stage including preparation of RFQs, review the technical offers, compliance's and price adjustment for all above systems.

• Witness testing and commissioning activities in all substation compartments Including EHV & HV & MV cables, power transformers, , AC&DC systems, fault recorders, Capacitors, protection panels\relays.
• Ensure all safety terms and site requirements for commissioning activities.
• Prepare site instructions, snag and punch lists covering all commissioning activities.
• Review test reports and lead the commissioning activities to ensure fulfilling of the approved relays setting and schematic drawing.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of new substations, transformers, transformer extensions, isolators, circuit breakers, and capacitors.
• Testing of current, voltage transformers and protective devices By various types of secondary testers such as Isa, Manta, Omicron etc.
• Working on protection relays such as using its specified software.
• Tracing faults in substations dc, low voltage ac, annunciation, metering, protection And control circuits of different substations models.
• Performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical, electronic, control and electromechanical systems - based X-RAY - inspection systems owned by the Egyptian Customs.
• Updating a control system in a KHALDA company site (289km from Siwa).
• Cables lying - cables insulation tests - wiring - cables glanding.
