- Ensure all variation items are immediately acknowledged and confirm intentions to claim.
- Prepare and submit detailed cost variation claims.
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly progress payments and final statement.
- Valuation of all works completed by the Specialty Trade subcontractors of the Project.
- Assessment of contractual claim by the subcontractors.
- Estimate overall quantities of the project materials.
- Obtaining of subcontractor, supplier / vendor quotations in coordination with Purchasing Department.
- Ensure the Specifications and Drawings are reviewed and any unclear issues have been sorted out.
- Ensure the specified quantities of approved materials are ordered on time.
As Sr. Cost Control Engineer
- Preparation of Project Budget based on Work Breakdown Structures.
- Monitor Job Cash Inflow and Outflows vs. the Projects Budget.
- Checking of invoices and claims from subcontractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure project expenses are recorded.
- Provide Cost engineering and Productivity Analysis.
- Preparation of detailed cost variations.
- Review material requisition, LPO and Subcontract Agreement and verify against budget allocation.
- Assist the Project Manager to ensure budgets are available and updated on a regular basis.
- Prepare monthly and periodic cost reports.
- Prepare earned value assessment, Estimate at Completion and CPI.
- Prepare estimates and variation analysis.
