Within two kilometers of AI Haram in Mecca, Thakher City seeks to create a unique and memorable residential and hospitality-based environment. The concept plan enhances the pilgrimage experience; improves vehicular and pedestrian mobility; addresses geotechnical and site accessibility issues; and creates a robust, interconnected open space network. The master plan addresses conservation and preservation of the historic town by reducing excavation as much as possible and providing a sustainable strategy for energy, waste, water and transportation.
Composed to accommodate up to 250, 000 guests during peak periods, the design is based on a unified grid pattern that can house a multitude of different parcels and scenarios as well as subtly orientate guests toward Al Haram at all times. The design aesthetic increases value with a new urban boulevard, separation of vehicular and pedestrian traffic access and an organized, sequential experience which intuitively guides pilgrims through the site to their destinations. Program elements include The Canyon, Thakher Park, Thakher Plaza, a pedestrian souk, hotels, residential, office, retail, mosques, utilizes and public facilities.
Duties
Provide complete technical and financial management of project including the development of scheme fee proposals as directed by vice president.
Lead the process of value engineering with master plan and building designers.
Interact in master plan workshop meetings.
Responsible for managing the construction and infra structure activities within the master plan from design to construction stage,
Following up the design from concept to IFT package stage.
Prepare RFP for design and construction firms.
Following up building construction activity in daily basis and throw weekly progress
and technical meetings.
Suggest and develop innovative solution to reduce rock cutting and rock stability.
Suggest and develop innovative solution for structure systems and construction
methodology.
Prepare and develop project’s structure design guide lines.
Prepare and develop project’s structure specs.
Responsible to manage, plan and direct activities of Design Review section to prepare and modify structural design review drawings and reports, Provide management for the thorough study and review during Bidding & Contract Stage that requires complete review including overall liability, construction stability and sustainability, apparent design mistakes, mismatch, incorrect BOQ and specifications, missing items, alternative design if required and provide site technical support and other Design Review related activities as directed.

- Leading a team consisting of six engineers (Arch., Civil & MEP)
And surveyor
- Monitoring and control site construction activities.
- Attending progress & technical meetings to highlight any potential
Problems and coordinate to solve it.
- Dealing with JAFZA (Jabel Ali Free Zone Authority) engineers

- Design and construction of high quality waste water treatment planet project with capacity of 1000 m3/day fair face concrete
- Full design repair and strengthen for two multi storey (B+G+6) buildings in Port- Tawfique
