• Ensure optimal order planning, Inventory management and control and dead / slow moving stock liquidation

• Regular visit to branches to support the field operations
• look for constant improvements in systems and warehousing, logistics of spare parts managements
• Ensure effective utilization of resources available with a continuous focus on saving on cost
• Assist National Parts Manager in implementing action plans pertaining to business growth and customer satisfaction
• Provide monthly parts Dept. business reports and revenue to National Manager with full analysis of results and market analysis & customers status
• To support achievement of sales targets
• Monitor the parts sales to ensure due emphasis is placed on most selling parts profitable lines
• Control all budgetary spending and to ensure it remains within target
• Discuss significant variations in budget with National Parts Manager & Aftersales Director on weekly / monthly basis
• Developing part stockholding at a level to ensure first time availability of parts, as per BMW guidelines
• Creating / proposing the organization and staffing for the Parts Dept. to ensure the efficient achievement of objectives
• Developing organization structure with job description and responsibilities
• Interviewing and selecting staff
• Ensuring the adherence all employment policies in line with company’s legislation
• Creating and establishing control system for all departmental resources, personnel and material
• Monitoring continuously all factors effecting the operations and implement in a timely manner
• Ensuring efficient and timely operation including Operating procedures, monthly stock orders to BMW AG, stock check-stock control and proper storing of all parts
• Monitoring continuously stock level to ensure minimum obsolete stock
• Ensuring a proper housekeeping. Administering and resolving all customers parts inquiries and complaints in a competent and timely manner
• Regular review for training to ensure the progress in development of parts personnel
• Maintaining relationship with salesmen, stock controller to facilitate the achievements
• Not to exceed agreed prices and discount level without justification or approval of National Aftersales Manager
• Not to exceed budgeted expenditure and stock level without justification or approval of National Manager
Overseer for the complete operations of Warehouse
* Making sure the stock is in control and keeps its records
* Receive goods from BMW AG and dispatch it to locations through IBR / IVR
* Collecting & binning the goods with the help of Picker & Binner for fast accessibility and
delivery
* Controlling the stock levels
* Preparing GRV / SRV Vouchers
* Sending parts for Warranty Claims & Insurance (all 8 branches kingdom wise)
* Receiving parts from branches (all 8 branches kingdom wise)
* Dealing with Insurance Company regarding the claims for damaged received consignments
* Responsible for in-time booking in system
* Maintaining availability of fast moving items by several reports (Zero Stock Report, Stock
Warning etc.). In order to communicate with AG for further queries, delays and Back orders
• Perform coordination with the Workshop & Retail Parts Counter Staff for the smooth delivery of parts as well as their requirements
• Inviting quotation’s from suppliers, evaluating quotations, negotiating prices & evaluating the products of supplier’s as per required specifications
• Involved in the Sales & Re-export of spare parts & accessories of BMW & MINI products
• Leading Parts Sales team in planning / analysis of sales & marketing strategies to achieve higher market share
• Coordinate with the After Sales Manager in Sales & Purchase, budgets & the pricing & discount policies in line with the competition
• Constant involvement with the BMW ordering system
• Involved in maintaining up-to-date displays at all times using racks, shelving posters, flyer’s etc. that are available to advertise/display BMW & MINI products
• Maintaining and ensuring proper storage of tires (Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Uniroyal and Pirelli) in our warehouse
• Rotate stock constantly to ensure no water or moisture in tire
• Supervision of all Road Traffic accident jobs which includes preparation of quotations and also coordination with the Insurance Surveyor's
• Supervising & managing all aspects of After Sales Business with Government, Semi-Govt. organizations, Sub-Dealers & Sub- vendors
Storage and inventory of parts in various branches
* Explore new business opportunities and develop new clients, which included strong-based
private companies and some semi-Govt. organizations
