Technical Support of seismic operations for Saudi Aramco.

• Served as a Geophysicist in Geophysical operations department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning, organizing, designing and supervising Geophysical Operations. Specializing in studying seismic activities, developing methods and techniques for earthquake monitoring and prediction.
• Handling tender documentation for various projects including 3D seismic data acquisition and 2D seismic lines (including acquiring of Up holes data).
• Evaluating responses to tenders, conducting technical analysis preceding negotiations and finalizing all tender and contract details for the seismic data acquisition project.
•Testing 3D, 2D seismic data acquisition parameters and equipment before the production and executing mobilization of equipments. Monitoring 3Dand 2D seismic data quality in the field as well as office.
• Supervising project at all stage of seismic data processing, including choice of parameters and sequence of processing in accordance to test results.
• Conducting contract feasibility study for construction of geological model based on 3D Seismic Data acquisition, processing and interpretation design.
• Preparing contract documents for project field seismic data transcription (3D, 2D) form IBM 3590B tape cartridges (10 GB native capacity) to LTO-2 tape cartridges (200 GB native capacity) without compression and with full preservation of its original format.
• Evaluating technical parameters of work order in VSP logging and supervising VSP logging in the well site locations.
• Handling seismic data transcription projects, overseeing project processing and interpretation of high resolution aeromagnetic (hram) and gravity data. Drafting parameters letters for technical procedures in the seismic acquisition projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitored data upload and quality control into field data management system. Ensured quality data acquisition and seismic data processing production output is in compliance with data processing contract.
• Liaised and maintained relations with the clients during data processing, ensuring data acquisition parameters and data quality standards are in accordance with client requirements.
• Responsible for Preplanning and Seismic Data Management (Creation of SPS files, Q.C. of SPS files, and Q.C. of Survey data) utilizing GEOLAND® software
• Used GEOVECTEUR® software for applying sequence of seismic data processing to create in the final the brute stack, processing the instruments tests of the recoding.
• Produced daily, weekly, and monthly production reports of seismic data acquisition. Supervised geometry checking, in-field data processing (including instrument test analysis) and checked for data content and quality.
• Ensured that all final deliverable products comply with Global Geophysical and Client’s technical, quality, and contractual requirements. Oversaw development of project final reports.
• Ascertained proper maintenance and correct use of Global Geophysical assets
and equipment assigned to quality control operations.
• Provided on-site training and advice to specific departments as required. Ensured adequate understanding of technical and quality specifications.
