Conducts assessment of shelters in a professional and impartial manner.
Prepares priority list of shelters based on Agency established criteria and procedure.
Prepares scope of works in close coordination with the beneficiaries and detailed Bills of Quantities.
Assists the beneficiaries in developing schedule of works and guides them through the rehabilitation process to complete the works on time.
Works closely with the social workers assigned to the project to develop true partnership with the beneficiaries.
Supervises the rehabilitation works to ensure compliance with the self-help agreement and correctly from the first time to avoid losses to the beneficiaries.
Checks and approves, in close consultation with supervisors, samples of materials
.
Conducts tests as where necessary and advises beneficiaries and supervises accordingly.
Prepares regular progress reports.
