Overall role is to support the Regional Management and Risk and Compliance function to establish an efficient program of Risk & Compliance across the region with including support to country programs. The position has a strong focus on compliance with legal requirements in middle eastern countries, donor regulations, internal policies and procedures of DRC and Code of Conduct and anti-Fraud/corruption.

Risk Management:
 Support Regional Head of Support Services (RHoSS) in ensuring quarterly Risk updates are made, discussed and decisions are well communicated.  Develop trends for the region on quarterly basis for discussion.  Guide Compliance teams in the region on key risk areas on quarterly basis and develop Work Plans for the teams.  Be a technical resource person for the Risk management teams in countries.
 Strengthen, further develop, and ensure implementation of the Risk and Compliance strategy and action plan for DRC.

Compliance Management:
 Conduct spot checks and compliance review of key risk areas of countries in coordination with RHOSS.  Based on DRC operation/program handbook as well as donor and legal regulations, develop tools and methods for independent, systematized compliance checks on high-risk issues, particularly related to programme implementation and legal issues.  Implement compliance checks in countries and provide regular support to R&C unit in countries.  Develop and implement system in all countries to regularly asses and report on compliance with legal regulations.

Accountability:
 Develop and implement the various trainings as per the action plan for all DRC full-time, casual, and volunteer staff.  Lead trainings related to CoC, CoCRM, RM and compliance with support of regional risk and compliance coordinator.  Support RD and RRCC in increasing the awareness and visibility of accountability mechanism of DRC.
 Coordinate with Countries to ensure the Accountability Improvement Plans are regularly updated & progress is monitored.  Register and manage all suspected misconduct cases being the CoC Regional Registrar and raise a regular followup reports to countries in the region and to HQ.  Investigate all cases escalated to Regional Office level whether on Fraud allegations, SEA, CoC, or Child Safeguarding.  Be part of the Regional COCRM process and undertake COC and management investigations when required.

Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager) at Save the Children

Lead investigations related to fraud allegations and manage the whole fraud system including evaluating the impact of any fraud incident on the organization.

Supports the external auditor(s) in preparing spot-check (audit) plans, coordinates and initiates the visits schedule for Save the Children various offices/ locations, and reports the findings to the CEO with all gaps recommending corrective actions.

Monitors the implementation of SC Jordan programs and functions thru monitoring the KPIs in a way ensures the alignment with SCJ Strategy and the implementation plans, reports the progress, tracks the deviations and suggests revised measures or targets in coordination and agreement with the CEO and the SLT/GMT.

Quality Assurance Section Head at Jordan Light Vehicle Manufacturing

SCOPE OF WORK: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Quality Assurance Section Head is responsible for the development and implementation of a quality assurance program for the delivery of the company products and services, which will align internal processes with recognized quality industry standards. This role provides leadership and direction to the quality assurance team and provides advice and support as the subject matter expert in quality assurance.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implementing and developing the systems and action Plans related to the Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Safety Management System (ISO 18001) to match the international standards.
• Develop Objectives, Policies, Procedures and Risk Plans with departmental Heads in a way that ensures the efficient business processes.
• Monitor the Quality Department technical performance and establish the Key Performance Indictors (KPIs) for the Department's staff.
• Develop and implement an audit approach to evaluate and test the internal controls and the overall organizational compliance.
• Collaborate with other functional units to ensure integration of quality assurance standards, practices and methodologies with the daily operations, strategic initiatives, continuous improvement initiatives, risk management activities, internal controls, and governance activities.
• Perform the audit plan and review the outcomes of the internal and external audits to identify systematic issues and make recommendations to address them.
• Provide subject matter expertise in quality assurance for capacity building and during the decision making process.
• Provide coaching, leadership, direction and mentoring to the Quality Assurance junior engineers in relation to the audit process.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise the ISO procedures implementation within the company and assure the matching between the Quality System and the procedures of ISO 9001:2000 certificate.
• Continuous supervision on procedures documentation, and auditing for JLVM’s Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and Safety Management Systems.
• Employ best practices and methodology; 6 Sigma tools, LEAN Manufacturing, 5S, 6 Sigma, JIT, Quality Gates, and other management strategies to achieve goals and continuously improve systems.
• Follow up on all Quality processes including review the results of the random checks and evaluate the inputs and outputs of the processes.
• Supervise and follow up on the continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance function different aspects and areas.
• Conduct planned and non-planned audits to assure the implementation of the company policies and procedures.
• Track and report out on KPI’s including analysis and corrective/improvement activities
• Participate in establishing rules, work instructions, specifications and processes ensuring the effective implementation and full compliance to these procedures in the company.

SCOPE OF WORK: The Special Projects Section Head manages the organizational development and the special projects.
