• Responsible for coordinating shipments of stock, working with suppliers teams, internal cross functional teams and shipping suppliers to efficiently move stock to the desired locations in line with customer requirements.
• Manage the shipping administration process, including the up keep of accurate records, consolidation of reports, and cataloguing of all shipping data
• Prepare weekly reports on the status of incoming shipments
• Check costs from freight forwarders and clearing agents against approved rates
• Continuously track shipment progress and communicate delays, working closely with the Shipping Supervisor to address any shipment issues
• Advise merchandisers and distribution centers of incoming shipments.
• Search for suppliers and manufacturers for many products and raw material or full production line from any country.
• Follow with the supplier or shipper the shipping documents needed for each shipment.
• Follow with freight forwarder and shipping line and the supplier the shipping process in every step.
The telemarketer is usually situated in a telemarketing call center and conducts sales and marketing strictly by telephone. Telemarketing jobs involve promoting a wide variety of products and services either via direct selling or through information gathering.
