Project: Jabel Omar Development Project up to Feb-2016 the joined Thakher Residential City
* Jabel Omar project includes Infra structure works, 10 towers and podiums.
* Thakher Residential City project includes Infra structure works, 5 towers, 4 buildings and podiums.
* Duties include:
1. Review all technical issues i.e. shop drawings, calculations, technical proposals, RFIs. . etc.
2. Managing coordination between all trades.
3. Technically involvement in site work.
4. Attending weekly meeting i.e. progress, technical. . etc.
5. Attending site tours and some safety walks.
6. Follow up the material approvals for the structural materials with the material Engineer.
7. Involved in general in safety and quality issues.
8. Preparing some internal reports to the planning engineer about the activities of structural department and progress in both shop drawings and site work.
• Projects Include:
1. Drainage Station, Abu Table Village, Kafr Elsheikh.
2. Drainage Pipe lines, Shabanat Village, Sharqiya.
3. Drainage Pipe lines, Ahraz Village, Sharqiya.
4. Maintenance of Alqon Primary School, Seedi Salem, Kafr Elsheikh.
• .Following and arranging the required resources for works execution.
• Following inspections by the consultant.
• Following Monthly payments.
One of the management team of a big project (Tower) in Dubai Marina.
• The project was a tower Building (50 stories) in Dubai Marina including 4 basements + Gr + 45.
• Duties include:
1. Following Planning, QA/QC and Safety Departments.
2. Attnding weekly safety meetings, safety walks and following comments by consultant and owner representative.
3. Following the NCRs issued by the consultant related to safety and executed works in general until full closing of the NCRs.
4. Following the inspections by Dubai Municipality Engineer and recorded comments up to accepting works. Also the inspection works by QA/QC Engineer before DM inspection and Checklist prepared by the construction department.
5. Follow up of the approvals for materials, subcontractors and shop drawings and related updated schedules.
6. Folow up of Construction program, its regular updates, short term programs and preparing 3 weeks look ahead shedules and weekly updates.
7. Preperation of weekly and monthly reports according to the approved format for the same.
8. Attending the weekly meeting with the Consulant and Owner Representative and follow up for their comments.
• While working in this project I got very good experience in project management.
• All correspondences, reports and discussions were in English.
• Supervision and administration of Sharjah Government projects like:
1. Alnoor Mosque (Foundation).
2. Sharjah New Library of American University.
3. Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
4. Sharjah Council of Consultants.
5. Tower (G+22).
• Making structural study & structural Calculations of the following projects:
1. Khorfakkan Dewan.
2. Cultural Department of Sharjah.
3. Main Building for Sharjah University (not full).
• I was approved as structure Engineer in Sharjah Municipality for unlimited Heights.
• I got experiences in construction systems like Post Tension & Hollow Core slabs.
