o Serves as Mechanical Engineer, prepares drawings and specifications for private architect-engineer contracts and reviews contractor's designs. Prepares detailed technical review comments.
o Develops original plans, design analyzes, and specifications for complex mechanical features of design work accomplished in-house. Drafts technical specifications, design criteria and drawings in conjunction with designs generated in-house. This includes plan layouts, design computations, selection of materials, components, and equipment to be incorporated into the design, comparative cost studies, etc. Reviews preliminary and final design plans prepared by engineers of lower grade to assure technical adequacy and compliance with all instructions and changes provided during the course of design development, and for feasibility, clarity and consistency with related engineering features.
o Prepare preliminary calculations and establish base load requirements for different mechanical networks.
o Design Mechanical networks (Domestic water, Sewage, Drainage, Firefighting).
o Design HVAC system (Ducting & chilled Pipes) networks using HAP Carrier program to find cooling & heating load, then assign required Ventilation system according to building functions.
o Visits sites of proposed future projects to acquire field data necessary to support design. Visits construction sites to investigate and resolve problems, which arise during the course of construction, and to interpret construction plans and specifications when questions arise as to the intent of design. Participates in conferences to discuss methods for resolving design discrepancies and integrating various technical requirements into designs. Through expert application of proven techniques during design review, reveals conditions of design requirements which will result in excessive cost.
o Interacts with the client to share and understand the on-going design. Support Project Manager in planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project design activities.
o Support project staff for high quality and timely operational outputs delivery. Collaborate closely with the Project Team in execution of project plans and activities.
o Redesign Mechanical networks (Domestic water, Sewage, Drainage, Firefighting, HVAC (Ventilation system).
o Review of Shop drawings for Mechanical discipline (water, sewer, drainage,
firefighting system, HVAC system, etc.)
o Coordinate with ECOLOG PMO (project management office) and clients Engineering division (discipline specific).
o Finalize the “As built” drawings.
o Prepare / review / List of materials, group them by position task.
o Coordinate with Ecolog PMO and Procurement / Warehouse to track the receipt
of appropriate Specification and Data sheets / purchase process as well.
o Coordinate the submittal process with our QA/QC engineer and PMO
o Supervise the execution works.
o Coordinate and schedule the activities with relevant Engineer for remaining disciplines.
o Ensure and perform testing and commissioning of each position related to discipline specific in coordination with QA/QC Engineer.
o Prepare internal daily / weekly reports.
1. Work on improving the use of labor within the production line, and work to keep it stable in order to achieve the desired target with the required quality standards.
2. Maintain individual skills and encouraging and developing them.
3. Supervise the equipment and devices to work constantly to raise the production capacity of the production line, and the development of advanced plans to increase production in accordance with the quality standards.

1. Prepare quality forms and checklists for site management team, to ensure the technical standards are met the highest degree of satisfaction for regulatory compliance.
2. Coordinates deficiency corrections and identified process improvements with supervisor’s management and serves as the quality liaison to Prime Contractor's quality representatives, to ensure the quality system complements and complies with Prime Contractor, Government, and contractual requirements.
3. To ensure approval of submittals in a timely manner and smooth handover.
4. Review drawings periodically to ensure no variance will occur that will be a potential cause of non-conformance.
5. Undertake site inspections to check the correct quality of construction is happening and to ensure the corrective actions happen when standards haven’t been met.
1. Review the design concepts, calculation analysis and comments them for approval.
2. Identify mechanical design criteria, prepare preliminary calculations and establish base load requirements for HVAC system, plumbing, water consumption, LPG system, Medical Gas system and fire protection systems.
3. Review comments and recommend for approval on the detail design, shop drawing, as built drawing and room data sheets submitted by the contractor.
4. Review the list for the supply of materials, equipments, instruments for facility utilities and services to consider materials and systems suitable to the project requirements.
5. Overall responsibility for ensuring the work is completed on time, safely and to required customer/industry standards.
6. Reviews, evaluates and advises contractor’s mechanical engineering, design, fabrication and installation activities including:
• Detail mechanical engineering and design.
• Providing appropriate technical specifications to be used for mechanical equipment
• Review of drawings and other deliverables as required for inter discipline design coordination
o Working side by side with government Quality Assurance Specialists (DCMA, COR & MNSTCI) and following their guidance as required and keep them updated through status reports and verbal briefings, Conducted 100% inspection and weekly inventory of sensitive and high dollar value items and conducted cyclical inventories of all other supplies with AGW staff to ensure proper accountability.
o Submitted Reports of Discrepancy (ROD/SF364) and initiate corrective action as required. Review the inbound materials against the contractual terms to ensure they are complied with.
o Follow up the inbound materials that should be stored and monitored electronically through database warehouse software.
o Carrying out day-to-day activities and reviews and recommends approval or revision of scopes of work (SOW).
o Maintains contract files and records up to date, prepares, Initiate corrective actions when/where needed, daily review of an active job, Schedule daily activities of inbound / outbound / Inventory for the item and continuously train full time and part time warehouse staff.
o Responsible for maintaining all field maintenance (Disassemble and rebuild the
whole unit of boiler starting from the insulation, pipes panels, super heater,
reheater, economizer, boiler steam drum, different sizes of valves, etc).
o Maintain the condensate pump and the steam condenser.
o Disassemble the low and high pressure turbine, rebuild the white metal bearing,
re-install the bearing and re-balance the rotor of the steam turbine
o Dismantle and erect soot blowers, wind box, burners and feed water pump.
o Using different kinds of special equipments and materials to disassemble and
erect the whole units of boiler like overhead cranes, winches, cranes, argon &
Arc welding equipments, etc.
o Review reports from the testing and inspection agencies to determine if the
agency has verified compliance of the reported item of work with the mechanical
Contract Documents. Initiate any necessary action.
o Advises the Site Manager on the status of maintenance workload and the
effectiveness of support activities and effectiveness of support teams.
o Maintain different kinds of machines.
o Repair the multi stage pumps, compressors, centrifugal pumps, cooling towers, and heat exchangers.
o Rebuilding the spare parts of the machines and hydraulic systems.
o Plating by Chrome, Nickel and coating by Phosphotization.
o Adjusting the flow chart of the rebuilding process.
o Checking the produced parts which had been rebuilt according to the quality control.
