Responsibilities and achievements
• I conducted a research on assessment of the impacts of land use land cover changes on tree diversity and occurrence in Nalwekomba wetland catchment in Kamuli district Uganda. This research aimed to provide policy makers a better understanding of sustainable land use practices in catchments in order to enhance tree diversity and occurrence amidst human demand for catchment resources.
• Appointed as the Country Coordinator for the Green Climate Initiative, leading a team in implementing sustainable climate change mitigation strategies and promoting environmental resilience at a national level.
Collaborated with key stakeholders, government agencies, and international partners to drive impactful projects and initiatives.
