1. Have been instrumental in laying down procedures and policies for the Local Purchase Department in liaison with compliance department.
2. Leading a team in supporting the local procurement of Electronic Products for retail outlets and also procurement of Consumables for Showrooms, Delivery & Installation and Service Center.
3. Planning, Organizing, Forecasting and Ordering of Electronic Products in co-ordination with the Product Management Team.
4. Identifying & Negotiating with the Suppliers and ensuring that necessary documentation and agreements are processed.
5. Preparation of Purchase Requests, Request for Quotation and Purchase Orders in SAP.
6. Preparation of Inbounds in the System.
7. Scheduling the deliveries to all the outlets and Warehouse and ensuring that the stocks are updated in the system.
8. Follow-up with the Suppliers and ensuring that the deliveries are done as per the schedule.
9. Ensuring that supplier compensation is provided in price drop and also for ageing goods.
10. Co-ordination between the Supplier, Product Team and Finance in processing the payments and any disputes therein.
11. Evaluation and grading of Suppliers.
12. Preparation of various reports required by the Management from time to time and ensuring that all documentation is adhered to as per policies and in compliance with audit.
13. Ensuring that the team performs upto the optimum level with periodical evaluation and yearly appraisal of the team members.
Special Projects:
Was responsible to convert the activities of the whole department into a
Paperless working atmosphere, thus bringing in more efficiency and better
space management in the office.
