o Conduct technical studies and benchmarking to improve the maintenance department’s operation and procedure’s performance output and provide the department with all related best practice to improve the quality of service and productivities.
o Follow up the implementation of both preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all types of buses and equipment in maintenance workshops.
o Auditing the compliance to the implementation of HSE polices and principles in workshops.
o Reviewing the strategic spare part inventory and verifying the availability and quality of sufficient levels of stock to perform maintenance services.
o Overseeing and auditing the compliance of maintenance contractors to SLA as agreed upon maintenance and services contracts.
o Prepare and implement specialized training programs for sections managers and engineers related to maintenance, assets management and TQM.
o Follow up implementing the results of internal and external audit and NCs and coordinating with related sections.
o Implement site visits to audit the internal and external maintenance activities related to buses and equipment, compliance to standards of HSE in all maintenance workshops during the official working hours and after office hours and weekends.
o Supervise the implementation of technical experiments and modifications and technical studies that are carried out on buses and equipment in all maintenance workshops.
o Developing methods used in the maintenance of buses and equipment based on results of auditing in-house and external maintenance operations according to best practices.
o Execute policies, procedures and responsibilities associated with the position.

o Assists the Fleet Director to assess and determine bus fleet maintenance strategy and participates in developing and reviewing the agency strategic plans.
o Schedules and coordinates training programs and safety meetings to promote safe work environments and safety awareness.
o Develops monitors and reports on the department's annual operational plan.
o Supervises the implementation of excellence principles and programs to enhance the department's productivity.
o Share the knowledge and expertise with the department's managers and other employees to achieve organizational objectives.
o Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
o Planning, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.

o Responsible of maintaining quality control records, non-conforming records, and initiates- Corrective/preventative actions.
o Participate and contribute to the training of new staff. In coordination with the Human Resource Manager.
o Oversee Quality Assurance procedures.
o Managing stores personnel and other resources (200 employees).
o Supervising the implementation of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs for stored vehicles.
o Preparing/applying procedures for the implementation of all training and development activities carried out for stores personnel, including the selection of learning options.
o Maintaining proper work conditions and smooth running of work.
o Receiving both new and used vehicles, then carrying out comprehensive inspection covering all parts and systems to classify vehicles with the proper class (classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) then storing these vehicles based on their class and the technical situation in the suitable stores or wide yards.
o Supervising the identification of departmental & individual training needs.
o Preparing the annual training plan and supervising its implementation.
o Managing training resources (Training Personnel, Training Workshops, Training Materials and Aids, Training Venue/Facilities, etc.)
o Counselling critical cases and provide solutions to higher management.
o Participating in committees relevant to training and development, as well as following up actions, as necessary.
o Initiating and responding to correspondence, as necessary.
o Coordinating with private and governmental training Centers for participation in training courses.
o Managing available personnel (mechanical engineers, mechanics, procurement officers, logistics controllers, storekeepers, etc.) (160 employees).
o Performing maintenance and repair for light and heavy vehicles, mechanical and electrical equipment including electronic control systems.
o Sets performance targets based on international benchmarks.
o Supervising and implementing of periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs.
o Enquire & procure all spare parts in time &establish stocks of common & running spare parts.
