HR Account Manager - Middle East North Africa (MENA) Region
Managed the end to end HR function for the region and act as the “HR Business Partner” covering 12 country offices (Rabat-Morocco, Algiers-Algeria, West Bank Gaza-Palestine, Amman-Jordan, Riyadh-Saudi Arabia, Beirut-Lebanon, Sanaa-Yemen, Dubai-UAE, Karachi-Pakistan, Islamabad- Pakistan, Kabul-Afghanistan and Baghdad, Iraq) and based in the Regional Hub in Cairo, Egypt. Total staff approximately 240 with almost half of it located in Cairo. Facilitated the yearly Talent Review sessions for all staff, administered the web-based PEP (Performance Evaluation and Planning) that leads to the award of Salary Review Increase (SRI) for each individual staff and decisions on promotion and salary increases. Coordinated all the recruitment needs in the region and having a special MOU signed between IFC and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; on the recruitment of Saudi nationals. Revolutionized the HR care delivery methodology to staff in the region by having monthly face to face and video conference “HR Clinic” sessions, HR “Do You Know….” proactive communication series in 2009/2010 and on-going “open door” and “walk around” philosophy to hear staff HR needs and seeking their input.

Recruited 90% of targeted manpower requirements through extensive recruitment campaigns and activities in Dubai, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapore and Australia (Sydney). Participated actively in Nakheel Salary Review Exercise in April/May 2008 and administered the new automated Nakheel Performance and Development System-NPDS (powered by Kenexa).
