Leading the company's IT strategy and engagement with McDonalds franchisee business units across 86 global markets across Latin America, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Asia and Japan. Responsible for accelerating adoption of technology, talent development and supporting key strategic business goals such as activation of home delivery services, upgrading in-store systems with capabilities such as self-order Kiosks, cashless payments, kitchen production systems, back office systems, big data analytics, labour optimization etc. Reporting into the global CIO, I am leading a team of 4 IT directors that based in each of the regions.

As a Regional CIO, I was responsible for leading team of around 23 senior IT professionals accountable for all IT systems and solutions used by the corporate offices, operations, customer service, Sorting hubs, courier stations, automated customs clearance, CRM and Sales force and several customer facing e-commerce solutions such as FedEx Ship manager, fedex.com etc
Regional role - leading strategic projects such as deployment of clearance systems, integration with Dubai customs for automated clearance, deployment of customer service systems, opening of new hubs and stations, deployment of franchisee systems to 65+ countries, performing due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
Led deployment of wide area networks to leading banks, oil companies and etnerprises within Middle East. Managed a small team of network engineers and was the team lead responsible for managing corporate clients.
