- Be responsible for overall implementation of the project activities included in the work plan, finalization of specifications of equipment and their delivery, supervision of the team, etc.
- Organize and participate in the Inception Workshop and other Internal workshops and training sessions, as well as contributing to the discussion of the establishment arrangements leading to realization of the Fair and ensure that such plans would fit the local conditions and objectives of the project;
- Supervise the day-to-day implementation work schedules.
- Select and submit names of the national counterpart team for implementation of the project activities and participating farmers and cooperatives, traders and local NGO's;
- Assist in identification and selection of national consultants;
- Assist in the preparation of the final document on project activities and achievements which can serve as a basis for a large-scale project on capacity building, focusing on organization and management of Agricultural Fairs in Jordan;
- Prepare progress reports to be submitted to the FAO technical backstopping officers and Lead Technical Units
•Develop the costed annual work plan for the project component for which he/she is responsible with support from the line manager.
•Monitor the implementation of the plan in line with donor and CARE requirements including proposing any necessary changes.
•Report to the line manager on progress including contributing to donor reports
•Ensures compliance with all donor requirements and regulations.
•In cooperation with line manager, properly documents the achievements and lessons of the project activities and disseminates to partners. This includes registering assistance on beneficiary databases.
•Contribute to develop appropriate targeting criteria and mechanisms to ensure the needs of identified vulnerable groups are met.
•Supervise and monitor field team including setting work schedules and smooth coordination with partners CBOs and cooperatives.
•Ensure (with input from CARE’s line manager) that work procedures and if relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place, understood and being carried out.
•Manage/co-ordinate ongoing relationships with organizations at local and national level.
•Explore new opportunities for engagement with organizations at local and national level in line with CARE priorities and principles. Drive these relationships to maximize impact on FSL program.
•Support and assist with monitoring and evaluation process.
•Participate in the program review, design and implementation plans to identify the beneficiaries and their needs.
•Facilitate the implementation of Cooperatives income generating projects.
•Building Cooperative capacity and skills for their members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of their cooperatives.
•Contribute and participate in the mid-term and term evaluation of the cooperatives (Effectively document all information related to project successes and best practices, videos, and most significant change stories on the project in the selected sectors, and document and report initial market assessment findings.
•Provide mentoring and coaching to producers and producer groups to build local capacity for understanding and connecting with markets; participate in regular.
•Liaise with local partners, NGOs, and other relevant entities for coordination and implementation, including with relevant clusters.
•Represent CARE in food security and livelihood meeting.
•Liaises with other stakeholders and partners to ensure coordination, presents CARE’s work and ensure coherence of the project with other similar activities

Carried out different assessments in the target geographic areas to assess current situation, economic opportunities and resources, needs and potential programs.
•Recommend program priorities and explore, evaluate and present new opportunities that leverage impact and/ or complement core activities.
•Introduced the program to relevant stakeholders including local business owners, local representatives and community members. Foster ongoing positive cooperation with these stakeholders.
•Provided direct and ongoing field supervision to provide quality advice and technical review in areas related to economic development.
•Established and maintained productive working relationships with local leaders and local government departments, representing Mercy Corps in local coordination meetings as needed and soliciting their participation in all activities where appropriate and as directed by the line manager.
•Ensured close coordination and sharing of information with relevant stakeholders such as local government departments, NGO’s and local authorities, as appropriate and advised by the line manager.
•Worked with Project Coordinator and Manager in order to develop potential projects, implement and closely monitor selected economic development projects including detailed work plans and business plans.
